Who runs this guide
Off to the Races is operated by Peter Taylor trading as Does Your Duck Quack?, at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4AN. It is an independent visitor guide, not a racecourse or a ticket seller. The business details are also shown in the footer, and the About page explains the site.
Some links can earn commission if you choose to book after following them. This page explains the arrangement so you can recognise those links and decide whether to use them. You can also use the racecourse’s official information directly; the source links are there to help you check the facts before booking.
The programme currently in use
The active affiliate programme is Booking.com through CJ. Hotel links use that programme’s tracking route and lead to a search or booking service provided by Booking.com. Search dates and locations are a starting point: check the actual accommodation, room, guest count, cancellation deadline and full price before committing to a reservation.
Other programmes may be added after approval. An application or a place reserved for a future partner does not make it an active programme. Pending hospitality, outfit-hire, gift and coach placements remain hidden while their configured link is empty. This disclosure is updated when the active programme list changes.
How the links are marked
Affiliate links carry a note explaining that commission may be earned, at no extra cost from this site. Their link markup uses sponsored and nofollow attributes, and links opened in a new tab also use noopener. The note links back to this explanation as “Affiliate link – how this works”.
Off to the Races does not add a booking charge for using its affiliate link. The provider sets the offer and final booking terms, so compare the final price rather than assuming an earlier quote is still available. A search result or a historical example on this guide is not a promise of current availability.
