Talk to the racecourse first
Email info@fakenhamracecourse.co.uk, or call 01328 862388, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.
Your visit, step by step
Apply for a personal assistant ticket
A nominated personal assistant can receive complimentary admission when the visitor has bought a valid ticket. The racecourse lists DLA, Attendance Allowance, PIP, AFIP or registered blind/deaf status as eligibility routes and asks for the relevant award evidence and matching photo ID. Apply in advance by email; a Blue Badge alone is not accepted.
Accessible parking and viewing
The racecourse says it has dedicated accessible parking and viewing areas. Contact the office before the meeting to discuss where to park and the best viewing position for your requirements.
Plan assistance and arrival
The personal assistant is expected to help with moving around, toilets, refreshments and emergency evacuation if needed. Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who needs their own ticket under the course policy.
