Talk to the racecourse first

Email admin@hexham-racecourse.co.uk, or call 01434 606881, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Accessible parking

Blue Badge parking is on the tarmac area behind the Bramble & Tudor Bars and Henderson Suite. Tell stewards on arrival and display your badge so they can direct you close to an entrance.

  2. Viewing and toilets

A disabled viewing area is in the Paddock below the Parade Ring. Accessible toilets are in the toilet blocks at the top of the Parade Ring and behind the Princess Anne Bar; the Ramshaw Stand lift serves its first and second floors, with an accessible toilet on the first floor.

  3. Carer ticket and mobility scooters

A carer accompanying a paying disabled customer receives complimentary admission to the Paddock or Club Enclosure; arrange the ticket with the office. Two mobility scooters are available to hire and must be booked in advance by email.
