Talk to the racecourse first

Email nottingham@thejockeyclub.co.uk, or call 0115 958 0620, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Blue Badge parking and arrival

The Jockey Club provides free preferential Blue Badge spaces near the entrances, on a limited first-come, first-served basis. Main entrances include access points for wheelchair users, semi-ambulant visitors, pushchairs and assistance dogs.

  2. Accessible routes and viewing

Wheelchair viewing ramps serve both the track and parade ring. General-admission food, drink and betting facilities are on ground level; lifts in the Centenary and Grandstand buildings serve Sherwoods Restaurant and upper hospitality areas. A raised trackside viewing platform is available for wheelchair users.

  3. Toilets and personal assistants

The FAQ lists four accessible toilets, at ground level in the Grandstand and Centenary Stand, upstairs in the Centenary Stand and in Sherwoods Restaurant; each uses a RADAR key. Visitors may apply for one complimentary assistant ticket matching their own event ticket. Email Nottingham Racecourse on the day you buy your ticket to request one. Assistance dogs and a portable induction hearing loop are also provided.
