Accessibility at Worcester Racecourse

Worcester Racecourse publishes guidance for step-free arrival, accessible toilets, trackside viewing and free personal-assistant admission. Its access page also warns that the Centre Course area has uneven surfaces and no accessible facilities.

Talk to the racecourse first

Email info@worcester-racecourse.co.uk, or call 01905 25364, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Select a suitable enclosure

The designated trackside wheelchair viewing ramp is beside the home-straight rails and is for County Enclosure guests who need accessible viewing. The racecourse says the Centre Course has no accessible facilities and has grass and uneven concrete surfaces.

  2. Use accessible toilets and support

Accessible toilets are on the ground floor of the main grandstand; a reception steward can help with radar keys. If you find long queues or standing difficult, speak to the security or stewarding team for entry support.

  3. Arrange a personal assistant ticket

One personal assistant is admitted free when accompanying a paying guest with access needs, with proof such as a DLA or PIP award, or a GP letter plus photo ID. Email the racecourse at least 24 hours before the fixture to arrange the ticket.
