Betting

Tickets and connection

Digital tickets are scanned at the entrance. Free site Wi-Fi is available; there are no device-charging facilities.

Dress code

There is no formal dress code in the Paddock. The course has very little cover and outdoor paths include grass, so use warm or waterproof layers and shoes with grip. Fancy dress at celebrations should be discussed with Guest Services.

Getting in

The public entrance is at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, Overton Road, LL13 0DA. For the listed 2026 day fixtures gates open at 11:30am. Tickets are digital and should be saved to a mobile wallet before arrival. An online booking fee of £0.75 per ticket applies; the official FAQ says the gate price is higher than advance booking.

Accessibility

The racecourse says it is single-storey and its public areas are accessible. Limited hard-standing parking and designated accessible spaces are available; email ahead to reserve a space. A designated Paddock viewing area in front of the stewards’ tower overlooks the track and winning post. Bring your own seat if helpful. Disabled guests pay the standard admission price; a companion may enter designated areas free. Contact Guest Services on 01978 780 323 or mail@bangorondeeraces.co.uk to discuss access. Hospitality venues do not publish a step-free route for each room, so ask the hospitality team for the specific room and terrace access.
