Food and drink

Each package is bespoke. The published Gold package provides a plated or buffet lunch and an account or cash bar; details beyond that standard set are agreed with hospitality.

Gold Package lunch

The standard private dining package includes a three-course plated or buffet lunch. Speak to the hospitality team about the exact menu selected for your fixture.

Account or cash bar

The bar is settled on departure under the Gold Package description.

Coffee and chocolates

These are included in the standard Gold Package.

Facilities

Exclusive use

The marquee is reserved for your group throughout the day, with signage and floral decoration included in the standard package.

Private viewing deck

Each marquee has a deck with views of every race.

Betting and TV

Betting facilities and television viewing are included in the standard package.

Dress code

Hereford does not set a dress code for the public enclosures, but private hospitality has a smart-casual standard: no jeans, trainers or sportswear. Much of the site is outdoors and reached across grass; wear layers and suitable footwear between the marquee and viewing areas.

Getting in

Enter at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse on Overton Road, LL13 0DA, and follow event staff to your marquee. The 2026 race-day fixtures generally list gates at 11:30am. Your booking includes digital admission badges for the Paddock. Ask the hospitality team for the event-specific check-in point and access route because the general page does not name the marquee entrance.

Accessibility

The racecourse says it is single-storey and its public areas are accessible. Limited hard-standing parking and designated accessible spaces are available; email ahead to reserve a space. A designated Paddock viewing area in front of the stewards’ tower overlooks the track and winning post. Bring your own seat if helpful. Disabled guests pay the standard admission price; a companion may enter designated areas free. Contact Guest Services on 01978 780 323 or mail@bangorondeeraces.co.uk to discuss access. Hospitality venues do not publish a step-free route for each room, so ask the hospitality team for the specific room and terrace access. The public accessibility page does not describe routes, ramp gradients, doorway widths or toilet locations for each marquee or its viewing deck. Because the venue is outdoors, ask the hospitality team about the marquee location, ground conditions and a step-free route before confirming your group booking.

Children and families

The racecourse states that children aged 17 and under are free in public Open Course and Paddock enclosures with a responsible, full-paying adult. Hospitality places for children are discounted, but the page does not give a child price or package minimum age. Ask the hospitality team to price children in your group.
