Accessibility at Catterick Bridge Racecourse

Catterick publishes an accessibility guide and operates the Access Card scheme. Facilities and surfaces differ between the two enclosures, so use the official guide and ask the racecourse about your route before booking.

Talk to the racecourse first

Email info@catterickbridge.co.uk, or call 01748 811478 (Contact the racecourse office for access and ticket enquiries). Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Arrange a Personal Assistant ticket

Register for the free Catterick Racecourse Digital Access Pass or provide an existing Access Card ID. Add the complimentary Personal Assistant ticket online; if booking by phone, call the racecourse with your Access Card ID. Visitors can also present a card or digital confirmation at the entrance.

  2. Choose the enclosure and route

Most outdoor areas in Grandstand & Paddock are tarmacked, with raised viewing platforms at the finish and Parade Ring. The Course Enclosure is largely grass, with a tarmacked area outside the bar and café. A lift serves the first-floor Champions Bar and hospitality suites.

  3. Plan parking and facilities

Accessible parking is adjacent to the south entrance for Grandstand & Paddock and within the Course Enclosure. Parking is subject to availability; the racecourse says it does not provide mobility aids. Accessible toilets are available in both enclosures, with limited facilities in the Course Enclosure.
