Dress code
Smart casual, with some hospitality areas expecting a little smarter. Sports team shirts and offensive fancy dress aren’t allowed.
Getting in
Hospitality guests use the Premier entrance, opposite the zebra crossing from the main car park. On Welsh Grand National day the gates open at 10am.
Accessibility
Chepstow has accessible parking near the main entrance, a raised viewing platform overlooking the Parade Ring and track, an accessible Lower Grandstand and Premier Stand entrance, and a lift between the Premier Stand’s ground and first floors. For a free personal assistant badge, email info@chepstow-racecourse.co.uk at least 24 hours ahead and bring proof such as DLA, PIP or a GP letter with photo ID.
Children and families
Children need their own place in hospitality; ask when you book. Under-18s go free in the general enclosures.
Tips
- Book Welsh Grand National hospitality early: it’s the busiest day of the year.
- Ask what drinks are included before you go.
- Combine a hotel package with a night in Chepstow or the Wye Valley.
Upgrading
If a full package is more than you need, a Premier badge gives you the Premier Grandstand and every public bar and eatery without a reserved table.
