Talk to the racecourse first

Call 01372 726311, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Carer tickets

A carer or assistant goes free with a disabled racegoer. Call the racecourse on the same day you buy your ticket to request it; you will be asked for proof of eligibility.

  2. Parking

Accessible parking is in Car Park 10, close to the entrance. Show your Blue Badge to the stewards.

  3. Viewing

On most racedays there is a viewing platform along the front of the grandstand, the Level 1 balcony of the Duchess’s Stand and the Level 1 Blue Riband Balcony of the Queen Elizabeth II Stand. On Derby Day, Grandstand ticket holders can use the platform by the rail or the Duchess’s Stand balcony, and Queen Elizabeth II Stand ticket holders the Blue Riband Balcony. Only one carer per disabled person on the platform.

  4. Getting around

All three entrances have access points for wheelchair users, semi-ambulant visitors and assistance dogs. There are accessible toilets on every floor of the Duchess’s and Queen Elizabeth II Stands, and the best lifts are in the Queen Elizabeth II Stand.
