Talk to the racecourse first

Call 01932 782292, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Carer tickets

Call 01932 782292 to arrange a free carer ticket; entry on the day can’t be guaranteed at every fixture. A free ticket for a personal assistant is available if you receive Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or Armed Forces Independence Payment, or are registered blind; bring proof and matching photo ID. A Blue Badge on its own isn’t accepted as proof. Carers’ food and drink isn’t included.

  2. Parking

Most meetings use hard-standing car parks with accessible bays, allocated first come, first served. At the Christmas Festival some parking is on grass.

  3. Viewing

A viewing platform overlooks the parade ring and the course, staffed on busy days. Ground-floor private boxes have wheelchair-suitable viewing.

  4. Boxing Day

There are no trains on Boxing Day, so plan to drive or take a taxi, and arrive early for an accessible bay.
