Talk to the racecourse first

Use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Personal assistant tickets

Personal assistants and carers get in free with a paying guest. Collect the ticket from the racecourse office on the day, with proof such as Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment, or a signed GP letter with photo ID.

  2. Parking

The accessible car park, the RTS Gate, is signposted from the main road and is a short distance from the main entrance.

  3. Viewing

A raised viewing platform looks into the Parade Ring, and another is just past the winning post with an unrestricted view.

  4. Getting around

The grandstand entrance is accessible for wheelchair users, and the lower grandstand is fully accessible, with stairs and lifts to the first floor. Accessibility Liaison Officers are on hand on racedays, and stewards can take you to a quieter place if needed.

  5. Assistance dogs

Service animals, guide dogs, hearing dogs and medical alert dogs are welcome on a lead.
