Talk to the racecourse first

Email mail@ludlowracecourse.co.uk, or call 01584 856221, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Request accessible parking

Blue Badge spaces are close to the main entrance, are limited and must be requested in advance. The station is around two miles away; the free shuttle is not described as accessible, so arrange a taxi if you need a step-free transfer.

  2. Arrange a personal assistant ticket

One carer or personal assistant can attend free with a paying disabled guest. Pre-book by phone or email at least 24 hours ahead and provide accepted evidence; the racecourse asks visitors to make contact 48 hours before where possible.

  3. Use accessible areas and facilities

Step-free access reaches key public areas and accessible viewing areas include places close to the winning line. Accessible toilets are near the grandstand and hospitality areas; lifts serve hospitality suites. Ask a steward for directions on arrival.
