Farmers Day
A Thursday afternoon of jumps racing.
Home / Racecourses / Ludlow
One of the few privately owned racecourses in Britain, two miles north of Ludlow with views to the Clee Hill. Racing has been recorded here since 1725; today it’s a friendly jumps course with an Edwardian feel. Under-18s go free, parking is free, and a free bus runs from the station.

Ludlow’s current visitor information says there is no dress code and asks guests to dress for the weather. This makes comfortable everyday clothing a suitable starting point for a general visit. Check the forecast before choosing your layers and footwear, and think about the time you will spend outdoors during the meeting. If you have booked a specific dining or hospitality package, consult its instructions or ask Ludlow for clarification before travelling. This keeps your outfit choice aligned with the area you have actually booked.
