Who it suits
- Racegoers planning several Ludlow visits in 2026 who would use the lounge, car park pass and reciprocal meetings at partner courses.
- Visitors who like to have an indoor base with food, a bar and betting close by, rather than spend every break in the open air.
- A member who wants to bring a guest occasionally; the half-season option is described as including a guest badge.
Ticket prices
| Membership | Published price |
|---|---|
| Annual Member1 January–31 December 2026 | £250 |

The racecourse lists £250 per person for calendar-year 2026 membership and a £99 second-half membership offer. The annual membership covers every Ludlow meeting in 2026; the half-season offer is for the back half of the season. These are membership prices, not per-raceday prices.
Where your ticket takes you
- The Annual Members’ Lounge in the Plymouth Stand, beyond the finishing post and opposite the paddock.
- The 2026 annual badge admits the member to all Ludlow meetings and carries a car park pass.
- The lounge’s bar, food and betting facility; meals and snacks are available to purchase rather than included in the membership price.
- Reciprocal admission to more than 30 meetings at partner courses, with reciprocal dates available in the members’ area of the website.
Not included
- The owners and trainers’ lounge, which is a separate restricted area.
- Free meals or drinks: food and refreshments in the Annual Members’ Lounge are sold separately.
The view
The Annual Members’ Lounge sits just beyond the finishing post and opposite the paddock. It gives members a warm indoor base with a bar, snacks, lunches and a betting facility; the paddock, stand, roof terrace and Winners’ Enclosure are an easy walk away. This is useful in winter when you want somewhere to sit between races, but the membership does not mean you have to stay inside. The racecourse says access is good to the lounge and the nearby public areas, but the roof terrace is the exception to the listed disabled access. The lounge’s position helps you move between refreshments and the racing without crossing the whole site.
Food and drink
Food is available to buy in the lounge, with a bar and hot and cold items listed by the racecourse.
Members’ Lounge bar
A bar is available inside the lounge. The membership does not include a stated drinks allowance.
Hot food and snacks
The racecourse lists soup with French bread, casserole with French bread, and sausage rolls.
Cakes and hot drinks
Assorted cakes, scones with jam and clotted cream, coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available to purchase.
Clive Pavilion
Outside the lounge, the public Clive Pavilion has a bar, cafeteria and carvery; it is the course’s day-member catering area.
Facilities
Betting in the lounge
The Annual Members’ Lounge has its own betting facility, so members can place a bet without leaving the room.
Car park pass
Annual membership includes a car park pass and access to the annual members’ car park from the Ludlow end.
Step-free movement
The racecourse describes disabled access as good to the lounge and nearby areas, except the roof terrace. Lifts serve hospitality floors.
Reciprocal meetings
Members receive access to more than 30 reciprocal fixtures at partner courses; dates are listed inside the members’ website area and may change.
Dress code
Ludlow has no formal dress code and recommends dressing for the weather. The FAQ suggests smart or informal clothing in Members’ and dining areas, while its first-timer information says comfort and warmth matter most. Suits, hats and dresses are welcome but are not compulsory. This is a winter jumps course with outdoor movement between the lounge, paddock and viewing areas, so bring a warm coat, layers and shoes that can cope with damp ground. The lounge is indoors, but the roof terrace is outside and the racecourse says it is not part of the accessible route.
Getting in
The annual badge is arranged through the racecourse office at 01584 856221 or mail@ludlowracecourse.co.uk. The 2026 membership period is 1 January to 31 December; the second-half offer is £99. The annual members’ car park is accessed from the Ludlow end. Gates normally open two hours before the first race; for example, the 22 October 2026 meeting lists a 1:45pm first race, with gates at 11:45am. The fixture schedule may differ by meeting. The lounge is in the Plymouth Stand; the course does not publish separate bag restrictions for members. Digital tickets are scanned from a phone.
Accessibility
Ludlow lists step-free access to key public areas, accessible viewing near the winning line, accessible toilets near the Grandstand and hospitality areas, and lift access to hospitality floors. The Annual Members’ Lounge is in the Plymouth Stand and the racecourse says access is good to the lounge and adjacent areas, apart from the roof terrace. Limited Blue Badge spaces near the main entrance must be requested in advance. One carer or personal assistant can be admitted free with an eligible guest, but it must be arranged in advance and cannot be issued on the day. Contact the office at least 48 hours ahead where possible; accepted evidence includes a DLA or PIP award letter or a medical professional’s letter with photo ID.
Children and families
The FAQ says children aged 17 and under attend free when accompanied by an adult, with some exclusions for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events. The membership page does not publish a separate child membership price or specify whether children have independent lounge access; the lounge is reserved for members and their guests. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult under the racecourse terms. Contact the office if adding children as guests or if you need to confirm access on a special event day. A paid hospitality meal or a lounge snack is not included in the children’s free public admission.
Tips
- If you plan several days at Ludlow, compare the £250 full-year membership with the £99 second-half offer and the £22 advance public badge.
- Ask about the guest badge included with the half-season membership before you plan a group visit.
- Use the lounge as a warm base, then walk to the paddock and public viewing areas for the horses and races.
- Request Blue Badge parking and a personal-assistant ticket in advance; the course asks for at least 48 hours’ notice where possible.
Upgrading
The 2026 annual membership adds the Members’ Lounge, annual car park pass and reciprocal entry to more than 30 partner-course meetings. Public Premier Badge holders may instead book the lounge’s dining and bar service through a membership; restaurant hospitality is sold separately in the Jubilee and Plymouth Stands.
