- A group of 12 to 30 people looking for a private room with a balcony, a dedicated waiter and a menu chosen for the party.
- A larger party that can combine two private boxes; the racecourse’s current hospitality listing says linked boxes can hold up to 75 guests.

The listed restaurant package includes an admission badge to the Members Enclosure; confirm the fixture menu and available window tables with the hospitality office.
Where your ticket takes you
- The Jubilee Restaurant, with a reserved table for the day and waitress service.
- A private box for 12–30 guests, with two boxes able to combine for a larger party.
- A private balcony, a CCTV racing feed, menu choice, private bar and a dedicated waiter in the box package.
- A Members Enclosure admission badge included with the restaurant package; private-box packages include Members badges and racecards for guests.
Not included
- The Annual Members’ Lounge, which is for Annual Members and their guests rather than ordinary restaurant admission.
- Afternoon tea in the restaurant’s base price; it is listed as an additional £22.50 per person.
The view
The Jubilee Stand is above the Grandstand and Paddock Stand on the first floor. Its restaurant has panoramic views; window tables cost more than the standard restaurant booking. Private boxes have their own balcony and CCTV racing feed, so guests can follow the action indoors or step outside to watch. The restaurant package gives a reserved table for the afternoon rather than a private room, while the boxes are exclusive spaces for the booking group. The stand is connected by an internal lift and has outside stairs at each end. Before booking a particular window table or box, ask which view position is available for your chosen raceday.
Food and drink
The Jubilee offers a three-course lunch in the restaurant and a choice of menus in the private boxes.
Jubilee Restaurant lunch
The package includes a three-course lunch, tea or coffee and a table reserved for the day. Menu examples are published for individual fixtures.
Window table
The higher restaurant rate is for a window table overlooking the course; these positions are limited and the venue advises booking early.
Afternoon tea
Guests can add a selection of sandwiches, scones with preserves, hand-baked shortbread and tea or coffee for £22.50 per person on the published 2026 listing.
Private-box menu and bar
Box guests choose a menu and have a private bar, either cash or account, with a waiter or waitress for the day.
Facilities
Lift and stairs
The Jubilee Stand has an internal lift and an external staircase at each end.
Tote betting
A Tote betting area is available on the ground and first floors of the stand.
Reserved seating
The restaurant table is reserved for the day. Boxes are private, with CCTV racing feed and balcony areas.
Admission and racecards
The restaurant package includes a Members Enclosure badge; private boxes include admission badges and a racecard for each guest.
Dress code
Ludlow has no strict dress code. The racecourse advises smart or informal dress in dining areas, and recommends dressing for the weather. You can dress up for a special day, but the venue does not require a suit or formalwear. The Jubilee is indoors, although guests may walk out to the balcony or public viewing areas between courses. Wear comfortable shoes for moving around the course and bring a coat or umbrella in the winter months. A window table is a paid seating option, not a dress category. If you are attending as part of a party in fancy dress, the racecourse asks you to contact it in advance.
Getting in
Jubilee restaurant and private-box bookings are made directly through the racecourse hospitality team at 01584 856221 or dianethomas@ludlowracecourse.co.uk. The restaurant is on the first floor of the Jubilee Stand above the Grandstand; the private boxes are in the same building. Restaurant and box packages include their stated badge admission. For autumn 2026, the office asks visitors to book restaurant places by phone. Gates normally open two hours before the first race; for the 22 October 2026 meeting that means 11:45am for a 1:45pm first race. Your hospitality booking will provide the specific arrival details. No separate bag policy is published for the Jubilee Stand.
Accessibility
The Jubilee Stand has an internal lift as well as outside stairs at both ends. Ludlow says lifts serve the Jubilee Restaurant and hospitality boxes, with accessible toilets near the Grandstand and hospitality areas. Accessible viewing is available close to the winning line. Limited Blue Badge parking near the main entrance must be requested in advance. One carer or personal assistant may attend free with an eligible guest, but approval is required before race day; contact the office at least 48 hours ahead where possible with DLA/PIP evidence or a medical letter and photo ID. Ask the team which box balcony and restaurant table are suitable for your access needs.
Children and families
The racecourse says under-18s attend free with an adult at most meetings, with exclusions for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events. The Jubilee pages do not publish a separate child hospitality meal rate. Since restaurant and box prices cover specific food packages, ask the hospitality team how a child’s meal is charged before booking; do not assume free public admission includes a restaurant meal. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult under the racecourse terms. Include every child in the box headcount, as a standard private box holds 12 to 30 guests and two boxes may be joined for larger parties.
Tips
- Reserve a window table early if you want the view; the 2026 listing prices it at £91.50 rather than £86.50.
- Add the published £22.50 afternoon tea only if you want the extra sandwiches, scones and shortbread after lunch.
- For a private party, ask which menu is available and whether your group needs one box or linked boxes.
- Autumn 2026 restaurant reservations are handled by phone on 01584 856221.
Upgrading
The Jubilee Restaurant is the shared-table choice; the private box is the upgrade for a group of 12–30, with two boxes able to combine for up to 75 according to the current hospitality listing. A separate window-table supplement and afternoon-tea add-on are available in the restaurant.
