Talk to the racecourse first

Email info@uttoxeter-racecourse.co.uk, or call 01889 562561, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Arrival and step-free areas

Designated accessible parking is on tarmac close to the main entrance. The racecourse says most facilities are at ground level, with access to the main public areas and designated toilets.

  2. Viewing and hearing support

A wheelchair viewing area overlooks the track and has a dedicated closed-circuit television monitor. Induction loops are available in the 1907 and Betting Hall.

  3. Lifts and a personal assistant

Lift access is available to the 1907 and Prince Edward boxes. A personal assistant accompanying a paying visitor with accessibility needs receives free admission; collect the ticket at the entrance and bring supporting documentation such as a PIP, DLA or Attendance Allowance letter.
