Where your ticket takes you

Not included

The view

The covered tiered grandstand faces the finishing straight and winning post, giving an elevated view of the finish. The ticket also gives access to the Parade and pre-parade Rings and winner’s enclosure, so you can see horses before and after races. On ordinary fixtures, Warwick describes this as the enclosure at the heart of the course. Seating in Dukes Bar is unreserved; the public grandstand is a viewing area rather than a guaranteed numbered seat.

Food and drink

Warwick has public bars and a choice of mobile food concessions at its meetings. Food and drink options can change with the fixture; the racecourse says its event racecard has the latest menu details.

Dukes Bar

On the first floor of the Main Grandstand, with bar and betting facilities, televisions showing racing and unreserved tables.

Castle Bar

A quieter bar with unreserved tables, televisions and racing memorabilia; a place to sit with the racecard between races.

Scudamore and Westgate

Two of the internal public bars named by the racecourse. Food concessions also rotate through the season, including varied hot food.

Food market and concessions

The 2026 New Year’s Eve listing describes access to all bars, its food market and food concessions for the Main Enclosure.

Facilities

Betting

The Tote and on-course bookmakers operate at Warwick. Cash is accepted for betting; Tote positions also accept debit cards and mobile wallet payments, but not credit cards.

Toilets

Accessible toilets are listed in the Grandstand, by Dukes Bar, by Marquee Bar near the Parade Ring, and in the 1707, Paddock Suites and Owners & Trainers Bar.

Wi-fi and cash

Main Enclosure guides list Wi-fi. There are no cash machines on the course, so bring cash if you plan to use bookmakers or other cash-only services.

Covered grandstand

The tiered Main Grandstand offers shelter and an elevated finish-line view.

Accessible viewing

Raised platforms are available in the Main Enclosure, beside the Parade Ring and on both grandstand levels for wheelchair users.

Dress code

Warwick has no formal dress code. The Jockey Club’s guidance is to dress in what feels comfortable; clean trainers, jeans, dresses and suits are all in keeping with its advice. Team sports kit is discouraged, and fancy dress must not be offensive. Much of the course is open air, so bring layers or a brolly if the forecast calls for them.

Getting in

General admission and hospitality visitors enter at the Main Entrance beside Bread and Meat Close; stewards direct cars to parking in the centre of the course. Gates and facilities normally open two hours before the first race. For example, the published New Year’s Eve 2026 card gives gates at 10:20am and the first race at 12:20pm; times differ by fixture. Tickets are emailed and can be shown on a phone, printed or added to The Jockey Club app. Walk-up tickets are offered only if the meeting has not sold out, and gate purchases are card only.

Accessibility

Warwick has allocated accessible parking by the Main Entrance on Bread and Meat Close; show a Blue Badge to the steward. Raised viewing platforms are adjacent to the Parade Ring, in the Main Enclosure and trackside in the Course Enclosure. Wheelchair viewing platforms are also provided on both levels of the main grandstand; bars, catering facilities and accessible toilets are listed on the venue accessibility page. A complimentary personal assistant ticket requires advance application: call when buying your ticket, then send evidence of DLA, AA, PIP, AFIP or registered blind status with matching photo ID at least five days before the event. A Blue Badge alone is not proof and passes are not issued on the day.

Children and families

Under-18s have free admission at Warwick fixtures. Each must attend with a parent or responsible adult aged 21 or over, with no more than three under-18s per adult. Children aged 15 or younger must stay with their adult throughout the visit; 16- and 17-year-olds may move around the venue but their responsible adult must remain on site. A child’s admission is separate from the cost of hospitality food or a reserved restaurant table.

Tips

Upgrading

If you want a meal with a private table or guaranteed restaurant seating, Warwick sells the 1707, Paddock Pavilion and Kingmaker hospitality experiences. Private boxes are another separate option.
