Talk to the racecourse first

Email info@greatyarmouth-racecourse.co.uk, or call 01493 842527, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Arrange a personal-assistant ticket

Buy the paying visitor’s admission and email the racecourse at least 24 hours before the fixture with your name and meeting details. The free assistant badge is subject to availability; bring supporting evidence such as DLA, PIP, Attendance Allowance, an Access Card or AFIP documentation to collect it.

  2. Accessible parking and entrance

A limited accessible parking area is on grass near the main gates and can be uneven. Tell a steward if you need accessible parking; the racecourse advises arriving early on feature dates. The Fremantle Road entrance has a paved approach and hard-standing paths inside.

  3. Viewing, lifts and toilets

The Lord Nelson Grandstand has a lift to all floors and accessible toilets on each of its three levels. Some Grandstand & Paddock viewing steps and bars are difficult to access; contact the venue to discuss wheelchair viewing and the best area for your needs.
