Talk to the racecourse first

Call 01243 755055, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Parking

Free Blue Badge spaces at the front of Car Parks 5 and 8, close to the entrances, first come first served. They are on grass; a free wheelchair-accessible buggy runs in Car Park 8 to the nearest hard standing, on arrival and when you leave.

  2. Essential Companion tickets

Register with Nimbus Disability for an Access Card or a Goodwood Access Pass. After buying your ticket, apply online for an Essential Companion ticket with your order number; your card must show the +1 symbol. If it isn’t approved, Goodwood will refund your ticket if you’d rather not go.

  3. Viewing

Ramps either side of the Parade Ring Bar give elevated views of the Parade Ring and continue down to the Winners’ Enclosure. The racecourse map shows the elevated viewing platforms.

  4. Wheelchairs and toilets

Five manual wheelchairs can be borrowed free at the East Entrance; book on 01243 755022. Accessible toilets are in every enclosure and use a RADAR key, available from Racecourse Reception and First Aid points.

  5. Hearing and assistance dogs

Hearing loops are at the East and West Entrances. Assistance dogs are welcome by advance request.
