Getting in
Gates opened at noon for the 12 October 2026 raceday, with the first race at 1.47pm. Parking and the courtesy buses from the station are free. Security may search bags, and ordinary re-entry isn’t allowed.
Accessibility
A companion ticket is available for a paying disabled adult with valid carer ID or supporting documents: email the application before the meeting. Reserved disabled spaces are at the front of the public car parks on Balcarres Road, with a free shuttle to the entrances about 500 metres away. An accessible toilet is at Pinkie’s Bar. Call 0131 665 2859. Ask the access team about the best route to the upper grandstand.
Children and families
Under-18s are free with a paying adult except on New Year’s Day, Edinburgh Cup day and Ladies Day, with up to four children per paying adult. Book child tickets in advance: if a meeting sells out, none are issued at the gate. The bistro has children’s dishes.
