Accessibility at Redcar Racecourse

Redcar publishes an accessibility statement and a personal-assistant ticket process. Its access officer can answer questions about the 1960s-era buildings and any specific route or facility before you travel.

Talk to the racecourse first

Email info@redcarracing.co.uk, or call 01642 484 068, or use the racecourse contact page. Tell them the meeting, your ticket, how you are arriving, any equipment you use and the facilities you need.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Arrange companion admission

Register for a free Redcar Racecourse Digital Access Card through the Access Card scheme. Add the Access Card ticket when booking, or call with the card ID to add a complimentary companion ticket. If you already have a ticket, email or call with its order number and the Access Card ID. The racecourse also says you can show the card or digital confirmation at the entrance on the day.

  2. Plan parking and ask about facilities

Free public parking and reserved Blue Badge parking are available in both enclosures. The Grandstand and Course Enclosure have separate entrances and different SatNav postcodes, so tell the access officer which area you are attending and ask about the route or facilities you need. Some buildings date from the 1960s and were not designed around modern accessibility needs.
