Full public access
Premier Enclosure at Brighton
A Premier ticket opens the Premier Stand, Premier Bar and Parade Ring Lawn and includes the public Grandstand & Paddock areas. It is the most complete public ticket Brighton describes, with access across both general enclosures.

Who it suits
- First-time visitors who want the broadest public access at Brighton in one ticket.
- Racegoers who want the Premier Stand and Parade Ring Lawn as well as the main Grandstand facilities.
- Visitors who want the option of moving between the public areas and the Premier Bar during the meeting.

| Premier Viewing, 15 October 2026Shared suite package with admission, not a general Premier-only ticket | £39 |
Brighton confirms that Premier admission is sold as a public ticket, but the current October fixture pages checked displayed a Grandstand admission price and a separate Premier Viewing package rather than a standalone Premier price. No unsupported estimate is used.
Where your ticket takes you
- The Premier ticket includes all Grandstand & Paddock public areas, including the Grandstand, lawns and seating.
- The Premier Stand and Premier Bar are included, unlike with Grandstand & Paddock admission.
- Premier ticket holders can use the Parade Ring Lawn and the wider public Parade Ring facilities.
- The ticket includes public food units, trackside bookmakers and britbet pool betting facilities.
Not included
- A Premier general ticket does not include a restaurant table, private box or hospitality meal; those are booked as separate packages.
- Personal drinks may not be brought into the racecourse; bar purchases are available inside.
The view
The Premier Enclosure adds the Premier Stand and Parade Ring Lawn to the Grandstand & Paddock viewing areas. The Premier Stand gives an elevated look across the course; the lawn is beside the Parade Ring, where runners are seen before racing. Brighton’s horseshoe-shaped course rises and falls rather than forming a full circuit, so several public vantage points are useful. The city and sea views are part of the hilltop setting, while the Grandstand lawns and trackside areas give a closer look at the home straight.
Food and drink
Premier extends the public choice with its own bar, alongside the food outlets available in Grandstand & Paddock.
Premier Bar
A Premier ticket adds access to the Premier Bar. Brighton’s public FAQ does not list a fixed bar menu.
Silks Restaurant
Premier guests may use Silks if they have booked the restaurant package; a general Premier ticket alone does not reserve a table.
Grandstand food units
The Grandstand & Paddock areas have a range of public food units and bars, with the exact concession offer depending on the fixture.
Facilities
Parade Ring Lawn
This is a Premier-only public area for watching horses before they go to the track.
Betting
Britbet pool betting and trackside bookmakers are listed among the shared public facilities.
Viewing platform
The racecourse provides an accessible platform on the third floor of the Grandstand, reached by the Premier Suite lift.
Public map
The official map marks stands, restaurants, toilets, baby changing, public parking and accessible viewing.
Dress code
There is no formal dress code at Brighton, though sporting tops are not allowed. Smart summer outfits are common on feature days, but comfort is the racecourse’s stated priority. The venue is mostly outdoors and sits high above the city, so bring weather protection and wear shoes suitable for uneven outdoor areas.
Getting in
Enter at Brighton Racecourse’s main entrance on Freshfield Road, BN2 9XZ. The Premier Enclosure is shown on the official racecourse map; event tickets are scanned from a mobile phone or tablet. Gates normally open two hours before the first race and can open earlier at feature fixtures. The 15 October 2026 Season Finale opens at 11:53 for a 13:53 first race. The official entry page does not publish a separate Premier gate or bag allowance.
Accessibility
Brighton lists accessible parking in the Owners & Trainers car park, lift access to all levels, ground-level public areas and accessible toilets at the Grandstand and Paddock Suite, Owners & Trainers Bar and third-floor executive boxes. The accessible viewing platform is on the third-floor Grandstand via the Premier Suite lift. Free personal assistant admission is available with accepted evidence, collected at the gate. Contact the racecourse if you need a particular viewing location or route.
Children and families
Children under 18 are normally free with a paying adult, with exclusions for some Festival and Live After Racing dates. Brighton says adults may bring up to three children. Child tickets are collected on the day. The specific 2026 Premier public price for children is not stated separately; general admission rules apply unless a fixture exclusion is listed.
Tips
- Compare the access description before buying: a Premier ticket includes Grandstand & Paddock, but a Grandstand ticket does not include Premier areas.
- Use the Parade Ring Lawn before a race to see horses being led around, then choose a stand or trackside viewpoint for the start.
- A Premier ticket is not restaurant hospitality. Book Silks separately if you want a table and meal.
- The standalone 2026 Premier general price was not displayed on the October fixture pages checked; the £39 figure was for a different shared-suite package.
Upgrading
Brighton says enclosure transfers may be possible depending on capacity. Ask at the racecourse office whether a Grandstand & Paddock ticket can be upgraded to Premier on that fixture.
