Who it suits

- Guests who prefer an indoor base with a balcony looking towards the home straight and finishing post.
- Hosts who want to choose a plated three-course meal or a more informal hot and cold buffet.

Where your ticket takes you
- A private suite or box is reserved for the booked party; the event listing includes a hospitality admission ticket.
- The private room package also allows access to the public racecourse areas, including public trackside viewing and bars.
- Seat Unique lists private boxes for groups of 14–24 and 25–48; one larger box option is listed for 40–60 guests.
- The main public facilities include the Grandstand, Parade Ring and betting areas; the specific room and package depend on the fixture.
Not included
- The public page does not state that a particular box, menu or bar arrangement is included in every fixture’s package; package names vary by date.
- Children’s hospitality pricing and any parking upgrade are not stated in the checked 2026 box listings.
The view
Brighton describes its private boxes as elevated rooms overlooking the home straight and finishing post. Seat Unique’s 2026 listings describe first-floor boxes with Juliet balconies and course views. The private balcony gives a close view of the finish, while hospitality admission allows the party to leave the suite and use public viewing areas around the course. Because Brighton is a horseshoe-shaped track, a single viewpoint does not show the whole circuit; the public map shows the rooms, stands and other viewing points.
Food and drink
The package is arranged around a private room and a chosen meal or buffet, with bar arrangements agreed for the booking.
Three-course dining
The official booking pages list a formal three-course menu option for private boxes on selected fixtures.
Hot and cold buffet
Some box listings offer a less formal hot and cold buffet instead of plated dining.
Private bar
A private in-room bar is included in the package description; available payment and drinks arrangements vary by booking.
Facilities
Exclusive room
A private suite or box gives the booked group its own indoor base, with a dedicated host described in the hospitality offer.
Balcony and elevated view
The official partner describes Juliet balconies overlooking the racing action; the racecourse’s map identifies suites and boxes around the venue.
Betting and racecard
Hospitality descriptions include betting facilities and a raceday programme.
Accessible toilet information
The racecourse lists accessible toilets near the third-floor executive boxes. The official partner notes that some suites have steps and no step-free access, so room-specific access must be confirmed with the venue.
Dress code
Brighton has no general set dress code, although sporting tops are not permitted. Hospitality guests often dress smartly, but the racecourse’s general guidance prioritises comfort. Most of the public racecourse is outdoors and the wind can be noticeable on the hill, so bring a layer and shoes suitable for walking between the suite and the track.
Getting in
Use the main racecourse entrance on Freshfield Road, Brighton, BN2 9XZ. The racecourse map labels the hospitality suites and main entrance. Hospitality admission is included in the package; your booking ticket is emailed before the fixture. The venue usually opens gates two hours before the first race, with earlier times possible for feature fixtures. The public entry pages do not give a separate bag allowance for suites.
Accessibility
The venue has accessible parking in the Owners & Trainers car park, lifts to all levels, ground-level public areas and an accessible viewing platform on the third-floor Grandstand reached by the Premier Suite lift. Accessible toilets are listed at the Grandstand and Paddock Suite, Owners & Trainers Bar and third-floor executive boxes. Seat Unique specifically notes that a few of the steps into one larger suite have no step-free route. Contact Brighton on 01273 603580 or info@brighton-racecourse.co.uk to match a booking to a suitable room. A free personal assistant ticket is issued at the entrance with supporting evidence.
Children and families
Children under 18 are generally admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult, with exclusions for some Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events; the FAQs set a maximum of three children per adult. The private box listings do not publish a children’s meal-package price. Contact hospitality to arrange any under-18 tickets and confirm the meal price for children.
Tips
- Check the date-specific package name and party capacity: the official booking pages show different box sizes and offers across fixtures.
- Request the 2026 price from Brighton’s hospitality team; the live October listings identify the boxes but do not show a price.
- Ask whether your selected room has steps before booking if anyone in the party needs step-free access.
- Use the racecourse map to plan where the suite sits relative to the Grandstand, public bars, entrance and accessible parking.
