The view
Prince Edward boxes look across the racecourse; Staffordshire Stand boxes overlook the Winning Post and sit near the Parade Ring. Each box is described as having a private balcony, television and access to Tote betting. The venue has not published a guaranteed view from every seat or room in this package, so do not assume that every place has an unobstructed sightline. The map locates the hospitality spaces; ask which room or stand applies to the date you are booking.
Food and drink
Hospitality is sold as a fixture-specific package. The actual menu, service timings and inclusions can differ between the named packages and dates.
Buffet or set menu
Uttoxeter describes private boxes with a buffet; partner listings show two-course and three-course packages, with menus varying by package.
Private bar
The official partner lists a private bar in some suites; confirm this feature for the specific room you choose.
Tote betting
Boxes have easy access to Tote facilities, and partner package listings describe convenient betting access.
Facilities
Dedicated host
The hospitality page says private suite guests have a dedicated host.
Balcony and television
The racecourse lists private balcony views and TV viewing in the Prince Edward and Staffordshire boxes.
Groups
The partner describes private boxes for groups of 8–10 in one 2027 listing; capacities vary with the room and package.
Dress code
Uttoxeter has no strict enclosure dress code. The racecourse recommends smart casual clothing; its firm restrictions are sporting team shirts and offensive fancy dress. Most of the meeting is outdoors and routes include grass, so choose weatherproof layers and comfortable shoes with grip. The racecourse says hospitality has no separate dress code.
Getting in
All enclosures and hospitality use the main entrance on Wood Lane, with signs directing visitors from the car parks. For the Sunday 4 October 2026 fixture, the published opening time was 10:50am and the first race was 12:51pm; timings vary by meeting. Tickets arrive by email, although Premier tickets are posted unless bought within two weeks, when they are held at the gate. New on-the-day gate sales are card only. Bags are searched; outside food is not allowed in Premier or Grandstand & Paddock, and no outside alcohol is allowed anywhere. Hospitality access is also through the main Wood Lane entrance; follow signs or staff directions to the named room.
Accessibility
Designated accessible parking is on tarmac close to the main entrance; most facilities are at ground level and designated toilets are available. A wheelchair viewing point overlooks the track and has a dedicated CCTV monitor. Personal assistants receive free admission when accompanying a paying visitor with accessibility needs: bring evidence such as PIP, DLA, Attendance Allowance or AFIP paperwork to collect the pass at the entrance. You can email info@uttoxeter-racecourse.co.uk at least 48 hours ahead to request arrangements; availability applies. Lift access is published for the 1907 and Prince Edward boxes; the venue does not describe a dedicated step-free route or reserved wheelchair position for every hospitality room, so request details for the specific package.
Children and families
Under-18 hospitality tickets must be arranged with the racecourse; the official partner gives 01889 562561 for package questions. Child meal pricing is not shown on the public pages. For ordinary admission, the racecourse says children aged 17 and under can enter free with a paying adult, up to three children per adult, subject to exclusions. That general offer does not settle a child’s meal, reserved seat or package price. Seat Unique directs customers to contact the racecourse to arrange under-18 hospitality tickets.
Tips
- Compare Flat Cap, Fascinator, Top Hat and Classic by menu rather than name alone: the partner describes different meal courses and extras.
- Tell the booking team your group size. Seat Unique’s selected 2027 listing refers to private boxes for 8–10 guests, but exact capacity depends on the room.
- Request the exact stand, balcony position and accessibility arrangements before confirming a particular suite.
- Ask the hospitality team to confirm the specific room, service times and child arrangements for your fixture: the public listings vary by race day.
