Where your ticket takes you
- Your hospitality admission ticket includes entry to Worcester Racecourse and access to all public areas, according to the official booking listings.
- The Severn Restaurant is on the second floor of the main grandstand. It has a private table for the fixture, three-course dining, a bar and betting facilities.
- Private balcony boxes offer views along the home straight and towards the winning post, plus an in-room private bar and a choice of menu on the listed packages.
- The Parade Ring Marquee has its own lawn area with views of the Parade Ring, home straight and finishing post; its listed hospitality ticket includes access to the public areas.
Not included
- Drinks packages are optional additions to the meal package; they are not automatically included in the base restaurant price.
- A guaranteed Severn Restaurant window table is a separately priced upgrade. Public admission seating is not reserved by a hospitality booking unless the package says it is.
The view
The Severn Restaurant sits above the main grandstand, while the private boxes have balconies looking over the home straight and finish. The trackside Marquee has a lawn beside the Parade Ring with views towards the home straight. Your hospitality ticket also lets you leave the room and use the public areas, so you can watch from the County grandstand or visit the Parade Ring. The exact room or package available depends on the fixture.
Food and drink
Hospitality centres on a reserved meal, with different formats depending on the room and package.
Severn Restaurant
A second-floor restaurant with a private table for the day and a three-course à la carte menu. The 2026 brochure lists it from £119 per person, inclusive of VAT.
Private balcony boxes
Choose a seated three-course meal or informal buffet on the listed packages. A private bar is available in the room; drinks can be bought separately or added through drinks packages.
Parade Ring Marquee
The 21 October 2026 package offered an informal buffet or a three-course sit-down menu, with a private bar and staff for the party.
Facilities
Reserved place
The Severn Restaurant package includes a private table for the fixture. Box and marquee packages provide a private room or hospitality base for the booked group.
Betting and race coverage
The Severn Restaurant has betting facilities and television screens for race coverage. Boxes and the marquee also list convenient betting facilities.
Lift access
A lift serves the second floor of the main grandstand, including the Severn Restaurant and private hospitality suites.
Dress code
Worcester asks guests in the Severn Restaurant and private boxes to wear smart casual clothing. The racecourse is largely outdoors, so bring a warm layer and shoes that can handle the walk to and from the room. On feature days, some guests dress up, but the published guidance does not require formalwear.
Getting in
Use the admission entrance shown on your hospitality ticket, then follow signs or ask a steward for the named restaurant, box or marquee. The County/main grandstand entrance is on Grand Stand Road; the Centre Course gate is for Centre Course tickets. Worcester aims to open gates two hours before the first race, but the exact time varies by fixture. Hospitality is booked in advance and is not sold at the gate. The pages reviewed do not set out a bag-size limit.
Accessibility
The main grandstand has a lift to the Severn Restaurant and private hospitality suites on the second floor. The County Enclosure also has accessible toilets and an accessible lower grandstand entrance. The trackside wheelchair viewing ramp is for County guests who need accessible viewing. One personal assistant may be admitted free with a paying guest who has access needs; email the racecourse at least 24 hours before the fixture to arrange accessible tickets. The hospitality information does not give room-by-room step-free details beyond the published lift access.
Children and families
Children aged 17 and under can attend free with an accompanying paying adult under Worcester’s general admission policy. Seat Unique asks hospitality customers to contact the racecourse about under-18 tickets; the published pages do not say whether a child’s meal is charged separately. Contact the hospitality team on 01905 25364 or hospitality@worcester-racecourse.co.uk before booking a child into a dining package.
Tips
- Compare the package with what your group will use: the base Severn rate includes a three-course meal and table, while drinks packages cost extra.
- The balcony box and Parade Ring Marquee suit groups who want a private area; the Severn Restaurant is the published option for individual guests and smaller tables.
- Seat Unique’s listed price can change with demand, and a booking fee is added. The racecourse’s 2026 brochure gives starting rates inclusive of VAT.
- If you need step-free access, mention it when arranging the booking. The lift serves the Severn and private suites, and the racecourse asks for accessible-ticket requests at least 24 hours ahead.
Upgrading
The racecourse says hospitality can be booked as a package or arranged as an upgrade from general admission before the meeting. The Severn Restaurant window table is an optional paid upgrade; the 2026 brochure listed it from £15 per person.
