Centre Course Marquee Hospitality at Great Yarmouth
This is a separately booked hospitality area inside the course oval, entered through the Centre Course gate marked on the official map. In 2026 the marquee was sold for selected dates as VIP Winning Post hospitality and as a Family Lounge package on Family Fun Day.

Who it suits
- Visitors who want a reserved table and a set hospitality experience instead of finding a place on the public lawns.
- Groups choosing VIP Winning Post on a selected summer fixture for afternoon tea, a welcome drink and the lawn view.
- Families attending the 2026 Family Fun Day package, which advertised reserved seating, dedicated bar staff and permission to bring a picnic.
Ticket prices
| Package | Price per person |
|---|---|
| VIP Winning PostSelected summer racedays; brochure starting price | From £69.50 |
| Family Lounge30 August Family Fun Day | £25 |
The racecourse’s 2026 hospitality brochure lists VIP Winning Post from £69.50 per person on selected summer racedays and Family Lounge at £25 per person for Family Fun Day. The brochure checked does not publish 2027 package prices.
Where your ticket takes you
- The Centre Course Marquee, inside the track and reached from the separately marked Centre Course Entrance.
- VIP Winning Post package features a reserved table in the marquee and a lawn with a view of the winning post.
- Family Lounge package on the advertised Family Fun Day includes admission, reserved seating and a dedicated bar.
- The venue map shows the Centre Course hospitality marquee and its entrance as a distinct location from the public gates.
Not included
- A public Premier admission ticket is a separate product; do not assume this marquee package includes wider enclosure access unless the package listing says so.
- The 2026 brochure does not state that the package includes access to the Parade Ring or public Grandstand bars.
The view
The marquee is within the centre course. VIP Winning Post is promoted with exclusive views of the winning post from the lawn; the Family Lounge description focuses on reserved marquee seating and its dedicated bar. The racecourse does not promise covered track viewing from every table, so use the lawn for the advertised outside view.
Food and drink
The Centre Course offer is a package rather than a public food-court ticket: what is served depends on the package you buy.
VIP Winning Post afternoon tea
The 2026 brochure says this selected-date package includes an arrival Prosecco and afternoon tea at a reserved table.
Family Lounge bar
The Family Fun Day package includes dedicated bar staff. It also permits guests to bring their own picnic; the brochure does not give a set menu.
Package drinks
VIP Winning Post includes the advertised arrival Prosecco. Other drinks and any further inclusions are not itemised in the 2026 brochure.
Facilities
Reserved space
VIP Winning Post includes a reserved table. Family Lounge advertises reserved seating inside the marquee.
Dedicated bar
The Family Lounge package description includes bar staff dedicated to the lounge. VIP Winning Post package details focus on the welcome drink and afternoon tea.
Map and entrance
The official map labels the Centre Course Entrance and the marquee, separate from Grandstand & Paddock and Premier gates.
Included admission
The Family Lounge description explicitly includes admission. The VIP Winning Post brochure entry does not separately spell out whether the package includes a public admission ticket.
Dress code
The racecourse sets smart-casual dress for hospitality, restaurants, champagne bar and private suites: smart jeans and tailored shorts with smart footwear are allowed. Sportswear, beachwear, flip-flops, casual shorts and ripped jeans are not permitted. Family Lounge is a relaxed family package, but the venue publishes this hospitality dress rule across its hospitality areas.
Getting in
Use the Centre Course Entrance shown on the racecourse map, not the public Grandstand or Premier gates. The marquee offers are pre-booked packages and only run on the dates stated in the brochure. Opening times are set by the relevant fixture; the brochure does not list separate marquee gate hours or a bag-size policy.
Accessibility
The venue welcomes mobility chairs and scooters, has accessible parking near the front turnstiles, and offers personal assistants free entry when accompanying a paying guest with accessible needs. The racecourse warns that paths may cross grass and the accessible car park surface is uneven. Its accessibility page and package brochure do not describe step-free access or a dedicated viewing position inside the Centre Course Marquee, so contact the office before booking if you need those specifics.
Children and families
The Family Lounge brochure price is £25 per person and says the package includes admission, but it does not publish a separate child rate or age band. Standard racecourse admission is free for accompanied under-18s at most fixtures; the 2026 Family Lounge package terms do not say whether the free admission policy reduces its per-person package price.
Tips
- Check the package name and date before buying: VIP Winning Post and Family Lounge were offered on different 2026 fixtures.
- If you want a public enclosure as well as marquee hospitality, confirm that your chosen package includes it; the brochure descriptions do not spell out full cross-course access.
- Bring a picnic only for the Family Lounge package that explicitly allows it; the ordinary General Enclosure picnic policy is limited to selected racedays.
- Ask the racecourse about step-free access to the marquee before booking if you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter; the accessibility page does not describe its internal layout.
