Where your ticket takes you

Not included

The view

The Lord Nelson Grandstand is the main central stand, with the finish-line end close by and views over the track. The Premier Lawn provides an open-air place to watch racing; the Hoops Champagne Bar has its own lawn with garden furniture. For an indoor break, bars have television screens, though the stand steps remain the covered external viewing area.

Food and drink

Premier has its own public bars and eateries, plus the outlets available in Grandstand & Paddock. A full restaurant meal is a separately booked hospitality product rather than part of standard Premier admission.

Victory Bar

Inside the Lord Nelson Grandstand, with bar service and a viewing patio. Its middle-floor location is reached by the stand lift.

Hoops Champagne Bar

A Premier facility with bar service and an adjoining champagne lawn. The racecourse says the Hoops lawn has garden furniture and does not require pre-booking as a bar facility.

Trafalgar Restaurant

This sits inside the Lord Nelson Grandstand and serves race-day restaurant hospitality on selected fixtures. It is a separate package with reserved dining, not included in an admission ticket.

Facilities

Indoor bar space

The Lord Nelson Grandstand has several bars; its larger Vice Admiral Bar has level wheelchair access and an accessible toilet.

Lift and toilets

A lift serves the ground, middle and top floors of the Lord Nelson Grandstand. Accessible toilets are available on site, including on the middle floor.

Betting

A tarmac betting ring sits in front of the middle stand and is accessible from either public enclosure; betting facilities are also shown by the Parade Ring.

Viewing patio

The Victory Bar and Trafalgar Restaurant have access to an outside, uncovered viewing patio. There are television screens in bars and the restaurant.

Dress code

Premier is smart casual. Smart jeans and tailored shorts with smart footwear are acceptable; sportswear, beachwear including flip-flops, casual shorts and ripped jeans are not permitted. Feature days are a chance to dress up, but hats and occasionwear are not required. Choose shoes that cope with outdoor paths and lawns.

Getting in

The official map marks Premier gates 4 and 12; follow the gate printed on your ticket rather than entering through a Grandstand & Paddock turnstile. The 5 October 2026 event page listed gates opening at 11:45am; times vary by meeting. Advance tickets are sold online and Premier tickets can also be bought on the gate when available. The ticket pages checked do not publish a bag-size limit.

Accessibility

Premier includes all Grandstand areas. The Lord Nelson Grandstand has lift access to every floor; Victory Bar and Trafalgar Restaurant are on the middle floor and have access to an uncovered patio. The racecourse has two raised track viewing platforms, and accessible toilets are listed across the site. The accessible parking spaces are limited and on uneven ground. Request a free personal-assistant badge by emailing info@greatyarmouth-racecourse.co.uk at least 24 hours before the fixture, then show evidence of accessible needs at the entrance.

Children and families

Children aged 17 and under are admitted free to all enclosures when accompanied by an adult at standard fixtures; the 20 October 2026 event page says a free child ticket is issued at the gate. Selected events may be excluded. Premier’s smart-casual dress rules apply to adults and children using the enclosure.

Tips

Upgrading

Premier admission is the upgrade from Grandstand & Paddock. The checked 20 October 2026 advance list priced it at £25 per adult against £17 for Grandstand admission; no separate on-the-day Premier amount was shown.
