The racecourse sells single days and three- and four-day badges; its price list loads only on its booking site, so check there for Grandstand & Paddock and County Stand prices. Early-bird discounts apply.
- When to buy. Now, for the early-bird price. Advance booking closes shortly before each meeting, after which County Stand and Grandstand & Paddock availability is announced on the racecourse’s news page.
- Gates. Open at 11am on all four days.
- Children. Under-18s go free with an adult.
- Dress code. Jacket, collared shirt and tie for men in the County Stand.

Travel and parking
Shuttle bus 197
From York station (stop RJ) from 11am; £4 return.
Walking
About 30 minutes from the station, with a marked route back after racing.
Parking
Free, and you can leave your car overnight and collect it by 11am the next morning.
