Where your ticket takes you
- The Premier facilities and all areas in Grandstand & Paddock and Picnic; this is the only standard ticket the racecourse explicitly says gives access to all three enclosures.
- The 1690 Bar and Terrace, including the Terrace Bar and the Spread A Plate snack counter.
- Tote and bookmaker facilities on the Premier Terrace.
- Attraction Restaurant and the private rooms are separately booked; a standard Premier ticket does not include their meal or reserved table.
Not included
- A meal or reserved table in the Attraction Restaurant or a private hospitality room; packages cost extra.
- Your own food, drink or seating, which are generally not allowed in Premier unless arranged in advance with the course.
The view
The Premier stand and 1690 Terrace look across the racecourse and the Westwood. The Terrace is a good place to follow the race outdoors, while the included Grandstand & Paddock areas add the Rapid Lad Grandstand and the paddock enclosure for viewing horses before they race. Your Premier ticket also reaches the Picnic Enclosure in the centre of the course, so you can compare the quieter infield view with the stand and terrace.
Food and drink
Premier combines relaxed food, cocktail options and a booked restaurant package.
1690 Bar and Spread A Plate
The snack counter serves deli sandwiches made to order, salads, sweet treats and afternoon-tea boxes; it connects through to the terrace.
Terrace Bar
A bar on the terrace with tall stools, carousel-horse details and a Laurent-Perrier bar.
Attraction Restaurant
A separately booked three-course dining option on the first floor, with a balcony over the course and a table kept for the day.
Whistlejackets Lounge and Cocktail People
The oak-bar lounge serves cask ale and offers a quieter indoor area. Cocktail specialists operate at bigger meetings only.
Facilities
Terrace and indoor bars
1690 connects to the terrace, with the Premier bar and a place to sit or stand outside.
Tote and bookmakers
You can place bets with the Tote or on-course bookmakers on the Premier Terrace.
Lift and toilets
The Premier building has a lift to the first and second floors and accessible toilets on the ground and second floors.
Dress code
Premier is Beverley’s smartest enclosure. Suits, dresses, ties and hats are welcome, but formalwear is not compulsory: tailored shorts and T-shirts are permitted if the overall look is smart. Sportswear and fancy dress are not allowed, except for the themed 70s Racenight. Most racing is outdoors, so choose shoes for walking between the stand, terrace and included lower enclosures, and bring a weather layer.
Getting in
Use the Premier entrance shown on your ticket and keep your e-ticket available for scanning. Beverley recommends booking ahead because Premier often sells out at busy fixtures. Its 2026 guidance asks visitors to arrive about 1½ to 2 hours before the first race; gates and race times are fixture-specific, and the 2027 times have not been published. No general bag-size limit is stated, and visitors are generally not permitted to bring their own food, drink or seating into Premier.
Accessibility
There are no steps at the Premier entrance. A passenger lift reaches the first and second floors, including Attraction Restaurant, and accessible toilets are on the ground and second floors. A step-free tarmac route reaches the Terrace and 1690 bars. Disabled parking on the Westwood requires a Blue Badge; accessible parking is also available inside Picnic. Accessible tickets are available, and the racecourse admits one companion free when booked alongside the guest. Call 01482 867488 or email hello@beverley-racecourse.co.uk if you need help planning your route.
Children and families
Under-18s can attend with an adult and are free on most race days. In Premier, 5–17-year-olds need a paid junior ticket on Saturday fixtures and Ladies Day; the 2026 Ladies Day advance rate was £15. The racecourse says these junior tickets must be booked in advance. Babies and younger children may use the baby-changing facilities in the disabled bathrooms; contact the office to arrange a private feeding space if needed.
Tips
- If you want the full course, Premier is the most flexible public ticket: Grandstand & Paddock and Picnic are included.
- Book Attraction Restaurant separately if you want a reserved table and three-course meal; its 2026 standard-day rate was £110 including VAT.
- Leave a picnic, drinks and chair at home unless you have arranged an exception with the racecourse; Picnic is the only enclosure for visitors’ own food and drink.
- For Ladies Day or a Saturday with children, book the paid junior Premier ticket for any 5–17-year-old at the same time as adult tickets.
