Where your ticket takes you
- A reserved table in the Peterborough Chase Restaurant, on the first floor of the Goodliff Stand.
- Admission to the Main Enclosure is included in the restaurant package.
- A private viewing balcony is listed for restaurant guests, with a view over the racecourse.
- The restaurant FAQ describes the first-floor outlook as covering both the course and Parade Ring.
Not included
- A window table: upgrades are limited and must be enquired about separately.

- A guaranteed table by the window; the restaurant says availability for this upgrade is limited.
The view
The restaurant is on the first floor of the Goodliff Stand. From there guests look over both the racecourse and Parade Ring; the private balcony provides an outdoor viewing point between meals. The package is not simply a grandstand ticket: it combines a reserved table with Main Enclosure admission, so you can leave the restaurant to watch from the public areas too.
Food and drink
The two online products are different meal packages in the same restaurant.
Classic Experience
A two-course à la carte seated meal, tea and coffee after the meal, table drink service, a racecard and admission.
Premier Experience
A three-course à la carte seated meal, tea and coffee, plus light afternoon tea of cake and scones without sandwiches; admission, racecard and table drink service are included.
Drinks and betting
The restaurant page lists waitress service and Tote betting facilities; guests can place a Tote bet from the restaurant.
Facilities
Reserved table
Your restaurant table is reserved for the day, rather than being a walk-in food outlet.
Viewing balcony
Restaurant guests have access to a private viewing balcony overlooking the racecourse.
Live-racing screens
The current package descriptions list a TV showing live racing as well as the balcony view.
Baby changing
The public baby-change facility is on the first floor of the Goodliff Stand, between the restaurant and Bevans Bar.
Dress code
Huntingdon has no formal dress code, but it asks restaurant guests to dress smart casual and not to wear ripped denim or trainers. As the balcony is outside, bring a warm or waterproof layer even if you plan to spend most of the day at your table.
Getting in
The restaurant is on the first floor of the Goodliff Stand. The racecourse does not publish a separate restaurant gate or bag-size rule on its restaurant and FAQ pages. Gates opened at 12.30pm for the Season Opener on 6 October 2026, but times are fixture-specific. The restaurant package must be booked in advance; hospitality tickets are posted to guests.
Accessibility
Huntingdon says its main entrances have access points for wheelchair users and that lifts serve the main grandstands. Its access page provides Blue Badge parking near the entrances, accessible toilets, a raised trackside viewing area and complimentary personal-assistant admission on application with a valid ticket. Contact the racecourse about the first-floor route, lift access and any table requirements before booking.
Children and families
Accompanied under-18s are free at most Huntingdon fixtures, with some high-demand dates limiting or charging for children’s tickets. An adult aged 21 or over, or a parent, must accompany under-18s; one adult can be responsible for up to three. The restaurant pages do not list child meal prices, so the adult package prices above should not be read as children’s rates.
Tips
- Book the restaurant before travelling: the FAQ says availability on the day is not guaranteed.
- Choose Classic for two courses or Premier for three courses plus light afternoon tea; both include the racecard and admission.
- If you want a window table, contact the restaurant separately; the course says these upgrades are limited.
- Use the balcony between dining and racing, and check the day’s fixture timetable because gates and race times change.
Upgrading
The restaurant offers a limited window-table upgrade by phone on 01480 410861 or by email to innes.skinner@thejockeyclub.co.uk.
