Premium Ticket Marquee at Perth
The Premium Ticket adds a reserved seat in a trackside marquee, with a private bar, private betting facilities and a lawn beside the course. It is a paid hospitality-style upgrade for people who want seating and service alongside public enclosure access.

Who it suits
- Racegoers who want a seat and shelter but still plan to watch some races outdoors.
- A small group looking for private bar and betting facilities without booking a full restaurant meal.
- First-time visitors who want a base between races and a tipster talk to explain the card.
Ticket prices
| Ticket | Published price per person |
|---|---|
| Premium TicketAdvance raceday package | £45 |
The racecourse published £45 per person for the 2026 Murrayshall Country Estate Raceday, plus the booking fee. The 2027 price was not yet published when checked. General entry tickets could be sold at Gate B on the day if available, but the racecourse did not publish an on-the-day Premium Ticket price.
Where your ticket takes you
- The Premium Ticket includes raceday entry and access to the Premium seated marquee with private bar and betting facilities.
- The package description includes a trackside lawn; you can step outside for an open-air view of the racing.
- Public Grandstand amenities include Cafe 1613, the Parade Ring, Winner’s Ring, public bookmakers and Tote.
- The booking page lists a tipster talk as part of the Premium offer.
Not included
- The ticket is not a full restaurant package: the published Premium offer does not list a meal.
- Private restaurants, Champagne booths and boxes are separately booked hospitality products.
- The Picnic Enclosure and its car pass are separate ticket products.
The view
The Premium package is based around a seated trackside marquee and its adjoining lawn. Use the lawn when you want fresh air and the course in front of you; return to the marquee for your reserved seat, bar or private betting facilities. The course’s general Grandstand ticket gives access to multiple public viewpoints and both rings, while this ticket’s distinguishing extras are the marquee and hospitality facilities.
Food and drink
The marquee package is described as a private-bar ticket rather than a dining package.
Private bar
The 2026 Premium Ticket description includes a private bar in the marquee. Drinks beyond a package allowance, if any is offered for a particular fixture, should be confirmed against that ticket; no drinks allowance was published with the £45 price.
Cafe 1613
In the public Grandstand area, with hot and cold drinks and food including pies. It provides a straightforward meal option if your ticket does not include dining.
Paddock & Chips
Perth lists this takeaway among its raceday outlets, including fish suppers. It is in the wider Grandstand food offer rather than the Premium package.
Facilities
Seating and shelter
The package has a seat in a trackside marquee, useful when you want to sit down between races or get out of the weather.
Private betting
The published ticket includes private betting facilities. Tote and independent bookmakers are also available in the wider Grandstand Enclosure.
Racecourse basics
The Grandstand has toilets, including accessible toilets, first aid opposite Cafe 1613, an ATM by The Barn and card/contactless facilities at bars and Cafe 1613.
Dress code
Perth describes the Premium area as part of the Grandstand hospitality experience and asks for smart casual dress for hospitality; its entry rules discourage football attire and say to dress for the weather. The marquee is covered, but the lawn and walkways are outdoors, so bring a waterproof layer and sensible shoes.
Getting in
Use the Grandstand entrance with your ticket ready for the QR scanners. The racecourse sends digital e-tickets by email and asks that every person has a separate QR code. The exact gate time is fixture-specific; the Premium Ticket was sold online for the 2026 Murrayshall fixture. Gate B can sell general tickets until the third race when tickets remain, but the course did not say that Premium tickets are sold at the gate.
Accessibility
The racecourse says hospitality packages can accommodate guests with additional requirements, but it advises contacting the office about limitations or adaptations. The Grandstand is mostly tarmac, with trackside grass; raised wheelchair viewing platforms are provided by the track and Parade Ring, and the Galileo Restaurant, Cafe 1613 and bars have wheelchair access. Accessible parking is close to the Grandstand entrance on hard standing and the shuttle bus has wheelchair-accessible transport. Call 01738 551597 or email info@perth-races.co.uk about the marquee route and reserved seating. Essential Companion admission is free with an eligible paying guest after arranging it with the office.
Children and families
The Premium Ticket price page does not give a separate child price or a general under-18 policy for hospitality. Perth’s Family Raceday 2026 page advertised free admission for under-18s for that fixture only. For the Premium package, no general children’s hospitality rate was published in the pages checked; the package is sold per person, so confirm what ticket and meal is needed for each child before booking.
Tips
- The published £45 price was for Murrayshall Country Estate Raceday 2026, not a guaranteed rate for every fixture.
- Ask whether food is included: the listed Premium offer includes a private bar but no meal in its published inclusions.
- Use the marquee as a base, but step out to the public parade and winner areas to see the horses close up.
- Save each person’s ticket QR code offline before travelling; Perth scans one QR code per visitor.
