Where your ticket takes you

Not included

The view

Day Member admission gives you access across the racecourse, including the Members’ Grandstand section and its viewing area. You can also use the Prince of Wales Stand Bar. The specific viewing area is useful as a sheltered alternative when you want a break from the public lawn and trackside positions. It is a day admission ticket, not a hospitality table, so reserve the Firth Restaurant separately if you want lunch.

Food and drink

The Prince of Wales Stand Bar is included for Day Members; restaurant meals need their own booking.

Prince of Wales Stand Bar

The Day Member ticket gives use of the ground-floor bar in the stand.

Firth Restaurant

Day Member badges are required for access, but the three-course meal and table must be booked separately in advance.

Public catering

Mobile food outlets serve the public areas, including hot food, coffee and snacks.

Facilities

Members’ Grandstand

Access to the Members’ section of the Grandstand and a designated accessible viewing area.

Parking

The Members’ car park is £10 per car in the current information and requires a Day Member ticket; other parking is free.

Entry ticket

Online tickets must be shown at the correct gate for scanning. Once scanned, the course issues a badge for access.

Dress code

Fakenham’s dress guidance is to wear clothes appropriate for the weather; it has no formal dress code for the public areas. Day Members can use hospitality and restaurant areas, where smart casual is a sensible choice. The viewing areas are open to the weather, so bring a coat and comfortable shoes. The course prohibits football shirts in its dress guidance.

Getting in

Use the Pudding Norton entrance, postcode NR21 7NA, recommended for e-tickets and access to the Members’ car park. Have each person’s e-ticket ready on a phone or in print for scanning at the relevant gate; the course then issues an access badge. Online sales close at 8am on race morning. Event gate times vary: the 16 October 2026 season opener lists 11am.

Accessibility

The Day Members page lists an accessible viewing area in the Members’ section. Accessible car parking is available; contact the racecourse in advance for arrangements. Personal assistant admission can be complimentary for an eligible guest, but it must be arranged before the event and is tied to a matching paid admission ticket. The course accepts specified benefits or registered blind/deaf status as evidence; a Blue Badge by itself is not accepted.

Children aged 17 and under have free admission when with a responsible adult and receive a wristband at the gate. The Day Member information does not list a child-specific paid rate. If a child is using the Members’ areas, confirm the fixture ticket process with the course; dining remains separately charged.

Tips

Upgrading

Grandstand & Paddock ticket holders can upgrade to Day Member access; the exact process and any price difference are fixture-specific. The 2026 standard admission list shows a £5 advance difference between the two public tickets.
