Who it suits
- Groups of 20 wanting a private base and an all-in package rather than buying separate tickets.
- Business or family gatherings looking for a view of the whole course from the Prince of Wales Stand.
- Groups who want the Day Member areas and parking beside the box included in their booking.

Where your ticket takes you
- A private box in the Prince of Wales Stand; the current event listing describes a small exclusive room alongside the track.
- A catered private box for groups of at least 20; the corporate page describes three luxury boxes in the Prince of Wales Stand.
- A choice of finger buffet, two-course menu, three-course meal or tailored package, arranged with the racecourse.
- The wider racecourse public areas and viewing opportunities, with ticket or badge details agreed as part of your booking.
Not included
- A published standard price: the racecourse asks groups to enquire, and the exact package can depend on the selected fixture.
- A meal menu in the current box description; it names vouchers but does not specify included catering.
- Admission for additional guests beyond the two included Day Member tickets; agree numbers and additions with the racecourse.
The view
The Prince of Wales Stand has views across Fakenham’s course and grounds. The current event page describes the hire box as an exclusive small space with views beside the track, while the corporate page says the stand overlooks the entire racecourse. Confirm which box is being offered and where its windows face when booking. For a closer look at the horses, use the public Parade Ring and return to the box between races.
Food and drink
Box packages are arranged for groups; the public listing describes drink vouchers but does not specify a fixed meal.
Drink vouchers
The event listing for the hire box includes drink vouchers. Ask which drinks they cover and whether further refreshments are available to purchase.
Racecourse food outlets
The Grandstand & Paddock areas have several mobile caterers, including burger and bacon stalls, hog roast, seafood, Thai food, fish and chips, doughnuts and coffee.
Catered group option
For larger corporate hospitality, Fakenham lists two-course and three-course food packages; confirm with the hospitality office whether these are available with the individual boxes.
Facilities
Private space
Fakenham has three boxes in the Prince of Wales Stand, each with a capacity of 20 people. The current small hire box listing describes a heater and two stools.
Included event extras
The event package description names two Day Member admissions, a parking ticket, racecards and drink vouchers. Confirm the final details on the ticket you book.
Accessible building
Fakenham says its buildings have disabled access and facilities. Contact the racecourse about the box entrance, level changes and parking before confirming a booking.
Dress code
Fakenham’s guidance is to dress appropriately for the weather, and its event pages describe the atmosphere as casual and practical. The racecourse does not set a formal dress code for boxes. Choose smart casual clothing for a hosted group event and bring a warm or waterproof layer for the open-air viewing and walks around the track.
Getting in
The current event listing says the box package includes parking beside the box; use the entrance and instructions given with that booking. For general event entry, the racecourse recommends Pudding Norton, NR21 7NA, for e-tickets and faster entry. Have every person’s e-ticket available on a phone or printed copy to be scanned at the correct gate. Fixture gate times vary; the 16 October 2026 opener lists gates at 11am.
Accessibility
The racecourse says there is disabled parking and accessible viewing, and that its buildings have disabled access and facilities. It does not describe the exact step-free route into each private box, so ask the office to confirm that room’s access. For a standard Day Member or Grandstand & Paddock ticket, a qualifying racegoer may apply for one complimentary personal assistant ticket in advance; send evidence and the booking reference to info@fakenhamracecourse.co.uk. A Blue Badge alone is not accepted as eligibility evidence.
Children and families
Children aged 17 and under receive free racecourse admission with a responsible adult, but the private box page does not state whether child catering or extra admissions are included in a package. Confirm the group count and meal or drink arrangements with the office before booking. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Tips
- Ask for the total including VAT and admission; the corporate page lists catering package rates but says premium racedays cost more.
- Confirm whether you are booking the small event-day box or a corporate package, as the pages describe different options.
- Use Pudding Norton, NR21 7NA, for the Members’ side and be ready to show e-tickets at the gate.
- Arrange the personal assistant ticket before the event if needed; it is not issued at the gate.
