Who it suits
- Racegoers who want the same Paddock facilities as the standard ticket, with an extra indoor bar and lawn viewing area.
- Visitors who value a nearby indoor base between races and want to use the Ramshaw Stand’s Chase Bar.
- People who may later book a Curlew Room or Henderson Suite package, both of which include Club entry.

Where your ticket takes you
- All public Paddock areas, including the Parade Ring and winners enclosure viewing.
- The Chase Bar on the ground floor of the Ramshaw Stand.
- The Club Lawn viewing area in front of the Ramshaw Stand.
- Public bars, food outlets, betting areas and the William Hill betting shop in the Princess Anne Bar.
Not included
- A reserved table in the Curlew Room or Henderson Suite; those need separately booked hospitality packages.
- A meal or drink in the Chase Bar; the ticket buys access, and purchases are made separately.
- Private boxes on the top floor of the Ramshaw Stand.
The view
The Club Lawn sits in front of the Ramshaw Stand and gives you another outdoor place to watch the racing. Club entry also lets you use the full Paddock enclosure, including viewing by the Parade Ring and winners enclosure. The stand adds the Chase Bar indoors for a break between races. Your public admission does not reserve a seat or table.
Food and drink
Club admission opens the Chase Bar as well as the Paddock’s bars and food outlets.
Chase Bar
The Club ticket includes entry to this ground-floor bar in the Ramshaw Stand. Hexham says food must be purchased on site before being taken into the stand.
Paddock bars and café
Club holders can use Princess Anne Bar, Shire Bar and Bramble Tudor Bar & Café, which serve drinks, snacks and hot food.
Picnic outside
Picnics are allowed in outdoor areas. Alcohol cannot be brought onto the racecourse, and food cannot be taken into buildings unless bought at the course.
Facilities
Betting
Betting is available in the Paddock, through the William Hill shop in Princess Anne Bar and at Britbet windows near the Princess Anne and Shire Bars.
Lift and toilets
The Ramshaw Stand lift runs from ground to second floor. Accessible toilets are on its first floor; other accessible toilets are near the Parade Ring and behind Princess Anne Bar.
Parking and payments
Car parking is free. The course has no cash machine but accepts cash and card payments throughout.
Dress code
There is no strict dress code at Hexham. Jeans and shorts are allowed, but football tops are not; fancy dress is fine if it is respectable and not offensive. Smart casual is requested in hospitality rooms, but a standard Club ticket is not a hospitality booking. The course is on a hill and much of the viewing is outdoors, so dress for changing weather.
Getting in
Use the entrance for your Club ticket and follow signs to the Ramshaw Stand and Club Lawn; Hexham does not publish a separate named gate for Club ticket holders. Gate times change by fixture and are listed on each raceday page. The Club ticket is £20 in advance or £23 on raceday if available in the published 2026 rates. Outside alcohol is not allowed and bags may be searched.
Accessibility
The Ramshaw Stand has a lift between ground and second floor, with an accessible toilet on the first floor. Accessible toilets are also at the top of the Parade Ring and behind Princess Anne Bar. The designated disabled viewing area is in the Paddock below the Parade Ring. Blue Badge parking is located behind the Bramble and Tudor Bars and Henderson Suite; show your badge and tell stewards on arrival. Carers accompanying a paying disabled guest receive free admission to either Paddock or Club if arranged with the office.
Children and families
Under-18s receive free admission when accompanied by an adult. The admission page does not require advance payment for children but event pages may ask families to register or book a free ticket; follow the fixture’s process. Hexham asks hospitality visitors to arrange the child discount directly, but that discount does not apply to an ordinary Club ticket.
Tips
- A Club ticket costs £8 more than adult Paddock admission when both are purchased in advance in the 2026 rates.
- Try the Club Lawn for outdoor viewing and use the Chase Bar when you want shelter.
- Do not carry picnic food into the Ramshaw Stand; Hexham permits picnics outside only.
- There is no on-site cash machine, although cash and card are accepted around the course.
