Where your ticket takes you
- The private box named in your confirmation: Enderby, Patterson or Gill on the top floor of the Ramshaw Stand.
- The Club Enclosure, which is included with hospitality packages and provides access to public areas as well as the Chase Bar and Club Lawn.
- The box’s own TV screen and the room’s hospitality seating; food and drinks follow the package agreed with the racecourse.
- For a larger event, the three boxes can be opened together for around 80 guests, with a bar and betting facility.
Not included
- A standard fixed menu or price: the racecourse says packages are tailored and arranged directly with its office.
- A guaranteed table right by the window. The hospitality page says only a limited number of window tables are available and requests cannot be guaranteed.
- Food brought in from outside. Hexham says food may not be taken into its buildings unless bought on site.
The view
The Enderby, Patterson and Gill Boxes sit on the top floor of the Ramshaw Stand. Hexham describes their outlook as a view across the racecourse and surrounding Northumbrian countryside. The private rooms have their own TV screens, so you can follow action while taking a break from the outdoor viewing areas. The hospitality page does not promise a particular box or window position; agree the room and any seating requests with the office when booking.
Food and drink
The racecourse builds private-box catering around the group, with buffet choices and optional extras arranged in advance.
Buffet packages
Published choices range from finger buffets to a four-course carvery buffet. Hexham says it can tailor packages to the group and budget.
Afternoon tea or brunch
The hospitality page says afternoon tea can be added or brunch served if requested when arranging the booking.
Private hospitality bar
When all three boxes are opened together, Hexham says the corporate space has a bar and betting facility. Confirm service details for an individual box with the office.
Facilities
Private room and screens
Each box has its own television screen and can accommodate up to 24 guests; the minimum booking is 20.
Betting
Britbet betting couriers are available in Private Boxes, according to the Plan Your Raceday guide.
Accessible lift
The Ramshaw Stand has a lift from ground to second floor. Accessible toilets are on the first floor; ask the office about the route and room setup for your booking.
Dress code
Hexham has no strict dress code in the public areas, and jeans and shorts are allowed; football tops are not. Fancy dress is acceptable if it is respectable and does not offend other racegoers. The racecourse asks hospitality guests to wear smart casual clothing. The boxes are indoors, but dress for the weather when walking to outdoor viewing areas.
Getting in
Private-box guests use the racecourse entrance and follow the booking details for the Ramshaw Stand and their named room. Hexham does not publish a separate hospitality gate or a standard opening time for every meeting; individual raceday listings give gate times. Advance booking is essential, and the office handles box enquiries on 01434 606881. No food can be carried into the stand unless purchased at the course, and outside alcohol is prohibited; bag searches take place.
Accessibility
The Ramshaw Stand has a lift between the ground and second floors, and an accessible toilet on the first floor. Blue Badge parking is on the tarmac area behind the Bramble and Tudor Bars and Henderson Suite; tell the stewards on arrival and display the badge. Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas. A carer accompanying a paying disabled customer receives complimentary admission to the Paddock or Club Enclosure; ask the office how to include the carer with a hospitality booking. Confirm access into the specific box in advance.
Children and families
The public admission page says under-18s receive free admission when accompanied by an adult. Hexham does not publish a standard child price for private box catering, and the package is priced by arrangement; ask the hospitality office about meal charges and supervision requirements before booking a group with children.
Tips

- Ask for a written quote that names the food package, drinks, room, any service details and included Club entry.
- Window tables are limited and cannot be guaranteed, even when requested.
- Check access arrangements for the room before booking, especially if using the lift or requiring an accessible toilet.
