Where your ticket takes you

Not included

The view

The marquee overlooks the Parade Ring, and the ticket includes Premier admission, so guests can watch the horses in the paddock and then move outside to other public viewing positions. Casual seating and TV screens provide a covered base between races, with a bar in the marquee. The racecourse does not state a specific trackside sightline from the marquee, so use the public Premier and stand viewing areas for the finish itself.

Food and drink

The hospitality package is sold as a meal-and-admission experience for the single Ladies Day fixture.

Welcome drink

The package includes one welcome drink on arrival.

Bowl food and dessert

The published package lists three bowl foods per person plus dessert. The menu was not yet available for 2026 at the time checked.

Marquee bar

A bar is available within the marquee; the package page does not list a specific drinks allowance beyond the welcome drink.

Other Premier outlets

The included Premier badge also gives access to the Champagne Bar, Lounge Bar, Premier Restaurant and Premier Sports Cafe Bar.

Facilities

Casual seating

The marquee package includes casual seating; the venue does not describe assigned individual tables.

TV screens

Screens in the marquee give a raceday coverage option while seated indoors.

Premier access

The package includes Premier admission, so it is not restricted to the marquee alone.

Raceday bar

The marquee has its own bar, alongside Premier enclosure bars elsewhere.

Dress code

The Marquee package includes Premier admission, where the racecourse asks for smart-casual attire and excludes scruffy jeans, shorts, T-shirts, sportswear and trainers. It does not require a jacket and tie. Ladies Day is a popular themed fixture, so visitors often dress up, but the published Premier request is the operative rule. Choose shoes that are comfortable for a full day across indoor and outdoor areas.

Getting in

The 2026 Marquee offer applied to Ladies Day on Wednesday 5 August and included a Premier badge. Enter using the Premier Enclosure entrance (what3words: nest.test.trip) and follow the event signs to the marquee overlooking the Parade Ring. That 2026 date has passed; the racecourse had not published a future-year Marquee price or date when checked on 3 October 2026. General gate times vary by fixture, and the fixture page gives the day’s schedule. The FAQs do not publish a general bag-size rule.

Accessibility

The racecourse says there is step-free access to every enclosure, accessible toilets and viewing ramps in all areas. Lifts in the Main and Dalby stands reach all floors. The marquee page does not describe its floor surface, ramp route or accessible seating, so contact the course before choosing this package if you need those specifics. A complimentary PA ticket can be requested in advance after buying the visitor’s own ticket; Pontefract requires supporting evidence and matching photo ID and does not accept a Blue Badge alone.

Pontefract admits accompanied under-18s free to the public enclosures, but the Ladies Day Marquee package page does not give a separate child package price. The published £99.75 rate is per person. Contact the hospitality team to establish whether a child can be booked at a different rate and what food is included before placing a group booking.
