Where your ticket takes you

Not included

The view

The Park Suite is in the Premier Enclosure. Its reserved tables look either towards the winning post or the Parade Ring, and balconies provide views over the finish, winners’ enclosure and parade area. This offers a seated indoor base between races, while the included Premier badge lets you go outside and watch from public viewpoints. The course does not promise an individually selected table position, so treat the outlook as part of the package rather than a guaranteed seat at one named window.

Food and drink

The Park Suite package includes food and a reserved place for the day. It is more structured than buying a drink or snack at a public bar.

Four-course carvery

Included in the adult 2026 Park Suite ticket at every meeting category listed by the course.

Afternoon tea

A light afternoon tea is included. On evening meetings it is replaced by canapes on arrival.

Park Suite bar

A bar is available in the air-conditioned suite; in-room Tote betting and CCTV coverage are also listed.

2026 menu status

The course had not published the 2026 menu on its experience page when checked; it links the previous year’s menu as a guide.

Facilities

Reserved table

The package secures a table in the suite for the whole meeting, unlike the Premier Restaurant where the table is not held for the full afternoon.

Balconies

The course lists balconies overlooking the finish, winners’ enclosure and Parade Ring.

Air conditioning and screens

The Park Suite is air-conditioned and has CCTV raceday coverage.

In-room betting

Tote pool betting is provided within the room.

Dress code

Park Suite guests hold Premier admission, so the Premier smart-casual request applies: Pontefract asks visitors not to wear scruffy jeans, shorts, T-shirts, sportswear or trainers, but does not require a jacket and tie. A neat shirt, smart trousers, dress or skirt is in keeping with the room. Wear shoes suitable for walking between the restaurant, Parade Ring and other public areas, and carry a coat if you plan to watch outside.

Getting in

Enter through the Premier Enclosure entrance shown on the map (what3words: nest.test.trip); the Park Suite page says the experience includes a Premier badge. Book online or call 01977 781307. Typical racecourse opening times are noon midweek, 11.30am Sunday and 4.30pm evenings, but individual fixture pages provide the times for that date. The public venue FAQ does not publish a general bag-size policy. Keep your booking details accessible in case staff need to direct you to the suite.

Accessibility

The course says step-free access, accessible toilets and viewing ramps are available in every enclosure, and lifts in the Main and Dalby stands serve all floors. Park Suite is a restaurant in Premier; the venue does not specify whether all its balcony viewing points are step-free or where accessible tables are placed. Call 01977 781307 before booking to discuss seating and the route. Complimentary personal-assistant admission is available with prior application after buying the visitor’s own ticket; supporting evidence is required, and a Blue Badge alone is not accepted.

Children and families

The racecourse’s 2026 Park Suite price is £37.50 for under-18s across all meeting types. Accompanied under-18s otherwise enter the public enclosures free, so a child who is not using the dining experience does not need the Park Suite food package but still must be accompanied by an adult. Confirm whether the child package suits your party when arranging the reserved table.
