The view
The restaurant has TVs showing the racing and a balcony overlooking the Winners’ Enclosure. Redcar says diners who want to watch live racing can go one level lower for indoor viewing and access to the Grandstand steppings. The hospitality badge lets guests use the wider Grandstand areas too, including trackside viewing and the Parade Ring. The balcony is described as looking over the Winners’ Enclosure, rather than the whole course.
Food and drink
Choose two or three courses from the day’s bistro menu, served at your reserved table.

The package lists a bar facility and waitress service at the reserved table.
Add-ons
Optional extras include a mezze board for £9.50 per person, a cheese board for £14 and cream tea for £9.50. Cream tea is unavailable at evening meetings.

Reserved table and TV coverage
The table is reserved for the day and the package includes TVs showing the racing.
Balcony and grandstand
A balcony overlooks the Winners’ Enclosure; one level below are indoor race viewing and the public grandstand steps.
Private Tote

Dress code
There is no formal dress code at Redcar. The racecourse recommends smart casual dress for hospitality guests. Formalwear is not needed; take comfortable shoes and a coat for moving between the restaurant and outdoor viewing areas.
Getting in
Use the Grandstand main entrance off Redcar Lane, postcode TS10 2FD. The Voltigeur is on Level 2 of the Petch Stand. Its package includes a hospitality badge and admission. Book online or via the racecourse office; bookings close at 1pm the day before racing, subject to availability. Tickets are checked and bags may be searched at the entrance.
Accessibility
Redcar operates a free Digital Access Card and companion-ticket scheme. The restaurant page does not specify lift, toilet or step-free details for Level 2, so contact access officer Amy Fair at info@redcarracing.co.uk or 01642 484 068 about the route and table access. Reserved Blue Badge spaces are available in the enclosures. Grandstand and Course have separate gates, so use the Grandstand entrance for this booking.
Children and families
Children receive a discount on the hospitality price depending on age, but Redcar does not publish the child amount. Accompanied under-18s are free for general admission. Ask the restaurant to confirm the meal-package price for each child before booking.
Tips
- Pick two courses if you would rather choose a starter and main or a main and dessert; the package does not require a fixed pairing.
- Use the lower level for indoor live viewing, then return to the restaurant for the reserved table and its TV coverage.
- If you want cream tea, avoid an evening meeting: the racecourse says this add-on is not offered then.
- Book early for a popular meeting and include dietary requirements when arranging the menu.
