Where your ticket takes you
- Premier Suite and Premier bar, plus the pre-parade ring and Parade Ring.
- Public areas available to general admission ticket holders, including trackside viewing, public food outlets and public betting.
- Tote betting facilities in the Premier area.
- Premier Plus and Curry Club are separately priced meal-and-drink offers in the Premier Suite on selected fixtures.
Not included
- A reserved table or meal, unless you buy a separate restaurant or dining package.
- Private hospitality rooms and their food or drinks packages.
The view
The Premier Suite is on the first floor of the grandstand and looks over the Tapeta track and Parade Ring. You can step outside to watch trackside, then return indoors between races. The 2026 event listings describe the Parade Ring view as elevated and panoramic.
Food and drink
Premier admission includes access to the Premier bar; meal packages are sold separately on selected meetings.
Premier bar
The bar is part of the Premier ticket area; drinks are bought separately unless your ticket is a dining offer.
Premier Plus
On 29 December 2026, this advance package included a pint, house wine or soft drink with burger and fries, plus a racecard, for £42.50.
Curry Club
On selected fixtures, the Premier Suite serves a traditional curry with a pint, glass of house wine or soft drink; the 23 October 2026 early-bird ticket was £38.50.
Facilities
Tote and betting
The Premier ticket includes Tote facilities; bookmakers and Tote windows are available around the venue.
Accessible viewing
Premier ticket holders can use first-floor wheelchair viewing, reached by lift. Accessible toilets are available in every enclosure.
Seating
There is indoor seating in the Premier Suite, but admission alone does not guarantee a reserved seat.
Dress code
Wolverhampton has a relaxed general dress code, but its FAQ says some Premier ticket options have more formal rules. The specific ticket page does not set out a full Premier clothing list, so smart casual clothing is a sensible choice; sports team shirts, offensive fancy dress, ripped jeans and sports trainers are not permitted. Much of the day is outdoors, so dress for the weather.
Getting in
Premier ticket holders enter through the hotel entrance rather than the Grandstand turnstiles. Gates usually open 90 minutes to two hours before the first race, though feature fixtures may open earlier. Tickets scan from a phone or tablet. The racecourse does not publish a separate bag allowance on the pages checked; food and drink from outside are not allowed.
Accessibility
The first-floor Premier viewing area is reached by lift. Accessible toilets are available in every enclosure and designated Blue Badge parking is near the hotel and main entrance, first come, first served. Buy the guest ticket first; a personal assistant can claim free entry at the turnstiles with proof of need. Email info@wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk at least 24 hours ahead; subject to availability.
Children and families
Children aged 17 and under usually enter free with a full-paying adult; each adult may bring up to three children. Collect the child ticket at the ticket office or turnstile. Some Festival and Live After Racing events are excluded. A separate child price for Premier admission is not published.
Tips
- Use the hotel entrance for Premier; the Grandstand turnstiles are for Grandstand tickets.
- Arrive in time to visit the Parade Ring before the first race, then use the first-floor suite for an elevated view.
- The 2026 ticket page shows lower group prices for parties of ten or more; groups over 40 should phone the ticket team.
- Bars and food outlets take card or contactless only. Bring cash only if you plan to use a bookmaker that accepts it.
Upgrading
The FAQ says you can ask at hotel reception to upgrade to another enclosure on the day if space is available.
