County Enclosure at Market Rasen
County is Market Rasen’s broadest public ticket: admission also includes Tattersalls and Lawn. It offers track and winning-post views, bars and places to eat, with a badge required for movement between the enclosures and re-entry to County.

Who it suits
- Racegoers who want the widest public access, including the Tattersalls Parade Ring area and Lawn family space.
- First-time visitors who would rather choose where to watch after arriving than commit to one viewing area.
- Groups who want a full raceday with a range of bars, restaurants and trackside positions.

The County Raceday page advertises £10 online in advance or £16 on the day for all three enclosures. That is a specific 2026 ticket offer, not a fixed tariff for every meeting.
Where your ticket takes you
- County Enclosure, plus access to both Tattersalls and Lawn with the same County ticket.
- Bars and places to eat in County, including the Tiger Roll Bar and Francky’s Bar & Bistro, plus Altior’s Restaurant as a separately booked dining experience.
- Track and winning-post views, with Tote betting and food outlets around the course.
- To move between areas and re-enter County, present the swing badge supplied with the ticket. County e-tickets require badge collection on arrival.
Not included
- A table or meal in Altior’s Restaurant unless you buy a restaurant package.
- Private-box admission or dining, which is booked separately through hospitality.
- The Picnic Car Park charge on feature days: it costs £10 per car and every occupant also needs an admission ticket.
The view
County is a useful base if your group wants to move around. The official page describes track and winning-post views; a County ticket also opens Tattersalls, where you can watch the horses in the Parade Ring and near the Winners’ Enclosure, and Lawn, with its playground and picnic-friendly atmosphere. Follow your badge instructions when moving between areas: the racecourse says you need the swing badge to re-enter County, and e-ticket holders collect it on arrival.
Food and drink
The County area has bars and places to eat, with a current autumn 2026 notice affecting a few named outlets during renovation work.
Tiger Roll Bar
A County bar named by the racecourse for track and winning-post views. It is listed among the bars open during the September-to-November 2026 renovation notice.
Francky’s Bar & Bistro
A County dining and bar option with course and winning-post views; the autumn 2026 notice lists it as open during the works.
Altior’s Restaurant
A separately booked restaurant experience above the Owners and Trainers Bar, overlooking the Pre-Parade Ring, course and Winners’ Enclosure.
Temporary closures
The racecourse notice says Tote Exacta Bar and Centenary Bar are closed during September to November 2026 improvements; Tiger Roll, Francky’s and Victor Lucas are listed open.
Facilities
Swing badge
Keep the badge with you: it is needed to move between enclosures and re-enter County. County e-ticket holders collect their badge on arrival.
Cash and cards
Bars and food outlets accept cards only. The racecourse says a cash machine is on site and on-course betting facilities take cash.
Toilets
Market Rasen’s accessibility guide lists public toilets within all enclosures, including the Limber Hill Bar and Altior’s Restaurant in County.
Grounds and seating
The grounds are mostly flat with some gradual declines. Seating is first come first served; furniture rules differ by fixture and enclosure.
Dress code
Market Rasen has no formal dress code and says visitors should dress to feel their best. Most County areas are open-air, so bring layers or a waterproof for changeable weather. On feature meetings, visitors may bring fold-up furniture only into Lawn unless management has approved an exception; County and Tattersalls have wider furniture permission on County and Family Extravaganza days.
Getting in
Use the County or Main Members entrance shown on your ticket. The accessibility guide says the County Main Members entrance is step-free; public car parks are free, with Blue Badge spaces about 50 metres from Tattersalls and a drop-off nearby. On County Raceday 8 October 2026, gates were listed at 11.55am, the first race at 1.56pm and the last at 4.48pm. Tickets are emailed for print-at-home or phone entry; County e-tickets require badge collection. The FAQ gives no bag-size allowance.
Accessibility
The course is mostly flat with gradual declines and wheelchair access at all enclosure entrances. The County Main Members entrance is step-free, Blue Badge parking is first come first served, and the access guide lists public toilets within County. One complimentary personal-assistant ticket may be applied for with valid admission and evidence of eligibility; the guide asks for prompt application, and special-admission information should be checked with the racecourse. Assistance dogs are welcome. The main access guide gives the office number as 01673 843434.
Children and families
Under-18s go free at most fixtures when accompanied by an adult, but tickets can be limited at high-demand meetings and a small number of fixtures require paid child admission. All under-18s must enter with a parent or responsible adult aged 21 or older, with no more than three young people per adult. Children aged 15 and under stay with that adult throughout. The County Raceday offer is a ticket price for the admission area; check the fixture rules for any paid child exception.
Tips
- At a County Raceday in 2026, book online for £10 rather than paying £16 on the day; one ticket covers all three public enclosures.
- Keep your swing badge safe while visiting Tattersalls or Lawn, as County re-entry depends on it.
- Use the County ticket when your group wants to explore; choose Lawn or Tattersalls only if you are happy to stay in a more limited area.
- During September to November 2026, the racecourse lists the Tote Exacta and Centenary bars as closed for improvement works.
Upgrading
Altior’s Restaurant offers reserved-table packages and Private Boxes offer hospitality admission. These are separate bookings from public County entry.
