Private Boxes at Market Rasen
Market Rasen sells private hospitality boxes with a meal, admission and views across the racecourse. The public offer includes Premier, Classic Comfort, Private Pizza and themed experiences; each has its own menu and not all are available at every meeting.

Who it suits
- Groups celebrating a birthday, anniversary or work occasion who want a private room for the day.
- Visitors who want a reserved base and a hosted meal rather than finding a table in a public bar.
- Groups choosing between a formal meal, a buffet or a casual pizza package.

Where your ticket takes you
- A private hospitality box for the day, with racecourse views and a package-specific meal.
- Hospitality admission is included in the Premier, Classic Comfort and Private Pizza package descriptions.
- Private box guests have their own room; the public package pages do not specify whether every box booking also grants access to every public enclosure.
- If a wider public area matters to your group, ask the hospitality team which enclosure badge is supplied with the particular package.
Not included
- A published price for the 2026 packages on the public private-box overview.
- A confirmed room capacity: the current overview does not give the guest limit for each suite.
- A guarantee that each menu or box is sold for every raceday; the racecourse says availability varies and minimum numbers apply.
The view
The racecourse describes its private boxes as having racecourse views and shows a balcony among the hospitality imagery, but the overview does not promise a balcony for every suite. The precise position, capacity and sightline vary by room, so ask for the name of the available box before booking if an outdoor view or a particular part of the track matters. Hospitality guests can watch from their reserved room and use the included admission to move around according to the badge issued with their package.
Food and drink
Menu and service vary across the named packages, so choose the food format that suits your group before requesting a quote.
Premier Experience
A champagne drinks reception, a three-course seated set meal or Premier buffet, full afternoon tea, tea and coffee, and hospitality admission.
Classic Comfort Experience
A two-course seated set meal, tea and coffee, hospitality admission, race-day programmes and a private box with racecourse views.
Private Pizza Experience
Homemade pizza with garlic bread, potato wedges and coleslaw, followed by cookies and ice cream; admission and race-day programmes are included.
Bespoke menus
The hospitality team also advertises themed experiences and tailored packages; the public page says availability varies by meeting.
Facilities
Private suite
The room is reserved as part of the hospitality package. The public overview does not give a standard capacity or identify a single box layout.
Raceday admission
The listed box experiences include hospitality admission, but the exact public areas linked to the badge are not described on the general package page.
Viewing
Private hospitality boxes are promoted for their views across the racecourse. Ask about the exact room and whether it has a balcony.
Service
The experience pages describe a dedicated hospitality setting and meal service. Private-box bookings have minimum numbers.
Dress code
Market Rasen asks visitors to dress to feel their best and has no formal dress code. The course is open-air, with uncovered areas and changeable weather, so bring layers and a waterproof. Hospitality visitors may prefer smart clothes for a seated meal, but the racecourse guidance prioritises comfort and does not require formalwear.
Getting in
Private-box packages include hospitality admission, and the racecourse FAQ says hospitality tickets are posted rather than emailed. The public package page does not name a separate hospitality gate, gate time or bag-size rule. Main entrances are around the site, with private hospitality directions to be supplied with the booking; the selected fixture page gives that day’s opening time. During September to November 2026, the racecourse notice says the office is temporarily based in Centenary Bar while improvement work is underway.
Accessibility
Market Rasen says the grounds are mostly flat with gradual declines and wheelchair access at the entrance to every enclosure. Blue Badge spaces are free and first come, with the main car park about 50 metres from Tattersalls and 200 metres from Lawn; the course also has a drop-off point by the stable yard. A complimentary personal-assistant ticket can be applied for with a valid ticket and evidence of eligibility. The hospitality page does not describe access details for each box, so give the team your mobility needs and ask about the exact room.
Children and families
Under-18s can attend most fixtures free with an adult, although child tickets are limited at high-demand meetings and a small number of dates require paid child admission. Under-18s must enter with a responsible adult aged 21 or over, or their parent, with no more than three under-18s per adult. Children aged 15 and under must stay with their adult throughout the visit. The private-box overview does not show current children’s meal prices, so do not assume the adult package rate applies to them.
Tips
- Request the current price, minimum group size, suite capacity and admission badge together; the public overview does not publish them.
- Choose a package by meal style: Premier has afternoon tea, Classic Comfort is a seated two-course meal, and Private Pizza is the casual option.
- Ask whether your particular box has a balcony and what enclosure access its hospitality badge permits.
- Tell the hospitality team about step-free access, wheelchair positioning or hearing needs before confirming a room.
Upgrading
The hospitality team can explain which private box and package is available for your fixture. Contact Market Rasen on 01673 843434 or use its online enquiry form.
