Where your ticket takes you

Not included

The view

The main draw is proximity to the Parade Ring, where you can see the horses before the race, and to the Winners’ Enclosure after they return. The enclosure page also describes excellent course views from its bars and eateries. A County ticket adds the County area and Lawn; if you bought a Tattersalls-only ticket, use the areas named on that admission instead of assuming it is interchangeable with the broader County badge.

Food and drink

The enclosure page names a hot-food takeaway and bar outlets; some venues may close temporarily for works.

Tote Exacta Bar

Named by the Tattersalls page as a bar and food area; the racecourse’s September-to-November 2026 renovation notice lists this bar as temporarily closed during those works.

Antonio’s takeaway

The Tattersalls page describes hot and cold takeaway food with racecourse views.

Red Rum Bar

The wider enclosure overview lists this among the bars and eateries in the central public areas; fixture pages show which outlets are open.

Facilities

Parade Ring

Visitors can see runners being paraded before they go out to race.

Winners’ Enclosure

Tattersalls is positioned close to the Winners’ Enclosure, where winning horses return after a race.

Toilets

The access guide lists public toilets within Tattersalls, including at the Tote Exacta Bar and AP’s Bar.

Surfaces

The access statement says surfaces around the venue vary between patio, tarmac and grass, with carpeted areas inside bars.

Dress code

Market Rasen says there is no formal dress code; choose clothes you feel comfortable in and dress for the weather. Fancy dress is permitted in Tattersalls and Lawn when it is not offensive or inappropriate. The area has outdoor paths and grass as well as indoor bars, so comfortable shoes are a practical choice.

Getting in

Use the Tattersalls entrance. The accessibility guide says this entrance has a slight step; the floor inside is level and hard surfaced. For 8 October 2026 County Raceday, gates open at 11.55am, with the first race at 1.56pm and last at 4.48pm. Times vary by meeting. Tickets are emailed for phone or home printing; County e-tickets require swing-badge collection. The FAQ does not publish a bag-size limit.

Accessibility

The main Tattersalls and Owners and Trainers entrance has a slight step; the entry floor is level, and the racecourse says grounds are mostly flat with gradual declines. Blue Badge spaces are about 50 metres from the Tattersalls entrance and are first come first served. Public toilets are listed inside Tattersalls. The personal-assistant scheme provides one free ticket with valid admission, subject to eligibility evidence; the racecourse recommends applying when buying because availability can be limited.

Children and families

Under-18s are free at most fixtures when accompanied by an adult, though high-demand meetings can limit child tickets and a small number require payment. A parent or responsible adult aged 21 or over must bring them, with a maximum of three under-18s per adult. Children aged 15 and under stay with their adult throughout the day. The old Family Ticket shown on the enclosure page is dated 6 July 2025, so it is not a current 2026 offer.

Tips

Upgrading

A County ticket gives access to Tattersalls plus the County and Lawn areas; County Raceday tickets are listed at £10 in advance or £16 on the day for 2026 fixtures.
