Where your ticket takes you

Not included

The view

The first-floor dining room overlooks the course; its ticket also gives access to all public areas.. The racecourse is a single public enclosure: admission packages do not divide visitors into separate grounds, and public ticket holders can move between the marked viewing areas. Use the map to locate the Parade Ring before racing and the grandstand steps for the finishing straight.

Food and drink

A three-course menu is included. Snaffles Gold adds a welcome drink and traditional cream tea after the fourth race.

Three-course dining

The package description promises a three-course menu, table service and a private table for the fixture. The restaurant promotes menus using Herefordshire and neighbouring-county produce.

Snaffles Gold

The Gold upgrade is listed separately by Seat Unique and adds a welcome drink plus a traditional cream tea served after the fourth race.

Nearby bar and betting

The booking details list a convenient bar and betting facility close to the restaurant.

Facilities

Betting

Britbet pool betting windows and on-course bookmakers are available. The racecourse is cashless for bars and food outlets, while bookmakers and Britbet accept cash for bets.

Toilets and facilities

The official course map marks toilets, first aid, betting points and public bars. A digital copy can be downloaded for use without Wi-Fi.

Seating

There is limited public seating, much of it outdoors. The FAQ says reserved seating is included with restaurant and hospitality bookings.

Dress code

Hereford has no formal public enclosure code. The racecourse says hospitality guests tend to dress more smartly, encouraging men to wear a shirt and tie and women to choose smart or elegant clothing. Warm outerwear is sensible for the October-to-April racing season; team shirts and offensive fancy dress are barred.

Getting in

Use the main racecourse entrance from Roman Road. The restaurant is on the first floor; download the official map to locate its building and the public facilities. Hospitality tickets are emailed, normally two weeks before the fixture, or immediately if booked within two weeks. The pages reviewed do not publish an exact standard opening time for Snaffles; fixture gate times apply.

Accessibility

The racecourse map says there is no passenger lift to the first-floor Snaffles Restaurant, and the linked Seat Unique listing says there is no step-free access. The course says to contact its office on 01432 273560 for alternative arrangements. Its public accessible viewing platform is on the ground floor at Rusty Bridge. Free personal assistant admission can be arranged for an eligible guest with a full-price ticket; contact the team at least 24 hours ahead. Confirm access before choosing this first-floor space.
