Hereford uses relaxed clothing guidance and encourages guests to dress for the season. Warm layers are particularly relevant to its autumn and winter racing. Hospitality guests are encouraged to choose smarter clothing, including a shirt and tie for men, but the dedicated page frames this as encouragement. Tasteful fancy dress is welcome. Sports team shirts and offensive costumes are excluded, and unsuitable fancy dress can lead to refusal of entry. Check the forecast before choosing outerwear.
