The view
A restaurant overlooking the finishing line, with a balcony for outdoor views and full access to public course viewing.. The racecourse is a single public enclosure: admission packages do not divide visitors into separate grounds, and public ticket holders can move between the marked viewing areas. Use the map to locate the Parade Ring before racing and the grandstand steps for the finishing straight.
Food and drink
The ticket includes a welcome drink, pork roll with trimmings and roast potatoes, unlimited tea and coffee, and a tea-time brownie.
Included hospitality menu
The 2026 listing names a hot pork roll with trimmings and roast potatoes, a welcome beer, house wine or soft drink, unlimited tea and coffee, and a tea-time brownie.
Public outlets
The ticket also covers the public course, whose map marks Hummingbird Bar and Piglets Pantry Pies & Coffee Shop. These are separate purchases.
Facilities
Betting
Britbet pool betting windows and on-course bookmakers are available. The racecourse is cashless for bars and food outlets, while bookmakers and Britbet accept cash for bets.
Toilets and facilities
The official course map marks toilets, first aid, betting points and public bars. A digital copy can be downloaded for use without Wi-Fi.
Seating
There is limited public seating, much of it outdoors. The FAQ says reserved seating is included with restaurant and hospitality bookings.
Dress code
Public dress is relaxed, but Hereford recommends smarter clothes for hospitality. It encourages men to wear a shirt and tie and women to choose elegant or smart clothing. Warm layers are useful in the autumn and winter season; sports team shirts and offensive fancy dress are not permitted.
Getting in
Enter at the main Roman Road entrance and follow signs or steward directions to the suite. The 12 November 2026 fixture opens at 10:27. This is a reserved-table booking through the event ticket page; outside food and drink, glass bottles and glasses are not allowed. Check the downloaded map for the marked entrance and facilities.
Accessibility
The official fixture listing explicitly says the VIP Finishing Line Suite has no step-free access. The public Rusty Bridge accessible platform is a separate ground-floor viewing area, not a substitute for the reserved table or suite. Personal assistants can be admitted free with a full-price ticket and evidence of access needs; arrange this with the course at least 24 hours ahead. If stairs or step-free routes are essential, contact the team about the package before buying.
Children and families
Children aged 17 and under normally go free with a paying adult, but the public page does not give a child hospitality price or explain child meal portions for this one-off package. The event hospitality FAQ contact is 01432 273560 for U18 ticket arrangements. Children must attend with an adult.
Tips
- Download the course map before travelling; it labels the entrance, viewing steps, Parade Ring, food outlets, toilets and betting points.
- Bring a card or contactless payment for food and drink. There are no cash machines; betting outlets are the exception to the cashless rule.
- Plan to arrive around the advertised gate opening. Gates usually open about two hours before the first race, and event pages publish exact fixture times.
- The public course has lawn and tarmac. The 2025 accessibility guide describes a step-free route around facilities that avoids crossing grass.
