This directory groups every course in our guide once. Regions are practical planning groups based on the course addresses in our site data, rather than administrative boundaries. “Both” means a course stages Flat and jump racing; check the individual fixture to see which you will watch.

The static map shows labelled dots in regional callouts. It is schematic: the dots do not claim exact venue coordinates or driving distances. Use the linked course guides below for the actual address, station, parking details and official sources. The map loads without an external map service.

South West

From Gloucestershire to Devon, this group covers both Flat venues and established jump courses. Use the individual guide to check the entrance and transport options; a course described by a nearby town can still require a separate journey from its station.

South East

Sussex and Berkshire offer very different racedays, from summer Flat fixtures to winter jumping. Choose a date before arranging travel, then compare enclosure access and cover. A regional label helps narrow the search but does not describe the journey between courses.

London and Home Counties

These courses surround London rather than sharing a single city-centre transport hub. Check the correct rail station and final connection for the venue you choose. Evening racing can make the return train particularly important, while major meetings need their own travel plan.

Midlands

The Midlands selection includes all-weather Flat tracks, traditional jumping venues and courses staging both codes. Use the course guide for the specific fixture and surface. Do not infer a year-round racing timetable merely because a venue has several types of racing.

East

East Anglia and Essex give you choices from all-weather racing to summer coastal visits and specialist jump fixtures. Newmarket has two courses, so check which hosts your meeting. Always use the event address rather than assuming every fixture uses the same entrance.

North West

The North West spans city courses and more rural settings. Plan the last part of the journey as carefully as the main train or motorway route. Busy festivals, bank holidays and narrow local roads can make the published meeting travel guidance especially useful.

North East and Yorkshire

This large region brings together Flat, jumping and mixed programmes. Nearby on a national map does not necessarily mean a short public-transport connection. Start with your preferred racing date, compare the relevant enclosures, then check the complete outward and return journey.

Wales

Welsh courses offer distinct settings in the north-east and south of the country. Check the actual venue address rather than treating the region as one destination. The course guides explain local travel and the evidence available for parking, accessibility and enclosure facilities.

Scotland

Scotland has five courses with Flat, jumps or mixed racing. Select the course and meeting before booking accommodation, particularly when combining racing with another part of your trip. Use the venue-specific guide for entrances, weather cover and the last connection home.

Northern Ireland

Both Northern Ireland courses are included in this UK directory. Down Royal stages Flat and jump racing; Downpatrick is a jump venue. Visitors crossing the Irish Sea should plan the airport or ferry transfer separately from the final journey to the course.

Compare the dress rules, read first-raceday advice and check accessibility provision before booking. Regional proximity does not confirm a step-free route or a particular facility. Each venue guide links to the source details and their check dates.

Location source: the 61 course addresses and official source links in our course directory, checked in the visitor guides. Racing types describe the venue programme, rather than guaranteeing a fixture on any particular date.
